While I do enjoy the site, the constant updates about the publicity and the hits is getting annoying. Can we keep that to a minimum. I doubt anyone really cares except the moderator. Anyway, I have a confession to make. Most of the hits are from me. Every computer I pass I click on the site numerous time. I'd say I'm good for at least 200-250 hits a day. I'll stop if the annoying useless updates stop.
I disagree with the last poster. I find it rather interesting when the site achieves various visitor milestones.
Does anyone have any idea how difficult it is to get 1,000 hits a day, let alone 780? Millions (yes, we mean millions) of blogs rarely get even a dozen hits a day, let alone in a week. From our research, we'd venture to say that 780 hits in a single day puts us into the top 10% of blogs in the world, maybe higher.
We just thought we'd share a little of our enthusiasm with you, the readers, since the more participation, the better it is for everyone. It also provides a convienient open thread for people to post on so we thought it was better than throwing up an "Open Thread" once a week.
We'll probably keep doing it as we go for the 1,000 a day target or as we hit 50 or 100,000 visits. We like it.
keep up the great work, and please help keep this site free from the racist nonsense that ended the predecessor site.
What is the pupose of tracking the Hits to the site ?
Possible advertisement will be next from the likes of local bars and law enforcement supply houses.

UPDATE: I can now report affirmatively YES regarding names of the participants! Their names were "LEFT HAND" and "RIGHT HAND". They tend to get a little overheated the faster "HE" (cowardly anonymous troublemaker) strokes it, so you could call them "HOTTIES"... in a sense. Enjoy stroking it to that, "brother".
