(not so) Hidden Cameras?

If you go to the CPD Intranet Homepage (available only on DEPARTMENT computers) and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, there is a button labeled "Mobile Video." If you click it, it brings up a series of MediaPlayer windows, all of which appear to load, but won't play. The labels for each window are what is interesting. There seems to be one for OEMC, another for the Intelligence Van, a third for the Marine Unit, about 6 or 7 windows in all. Are these things going to be live video feeds for the labeled locations? Anyone know?

And what's the purpose of letting everyone know they're out there?

Who Cares.....Dont do anything and you wont have to worry about being video taped. The most they will catch me doing is picking my nose or scratching my boys. Why Coppers on this job still go out there and try to be an aggressive P.O. still amazes me.

There are some 13 new digitally recorded video cameras installed inside and outside of the new Marine Unit facility. One camera is actually located in a decontamination shower room where officers are to strip-down after a black water dive to wash equipment and themselves off! Another "Supercam" is located on an antenna tower which can be remotely panned/zoomed to spot a tick on a dog's ass from a mile away. Officers must use swipe cards to enter the compound. Big brother is watching!

I saw a tick on a dog's ass at 35th street and Michigan. The dog was a Gold Star Exempt.
