The Season of Giving

We were surfing some of our regular sites today and directed by HogOnIce.com to the NRA/Support our Troops site where the number one (NUMBER ONE!) request from wounded soldiers are Phone Cards. Something as simple as a Pre Paid Phone Card will make a soldier's day when they can call their loved ones. So during your shopping trips, if you could find it in your hearts or wallets to toss a couple of $10 or $20 phone cards into your cart, below are two addresses you can mail them to.

Medical Family Assistance Center
Walter Reed Medical Center
6900 Georgia Avenue, NW
Washington, DC 20307-5001
(202) 782-3501

National Naval Medical Center
8901 Wisconsin Avenue
Bethesda, Maryland 20814
(301) 295-4611

We'll be busy most of the rest of the day, so don't expect any new posts until after dinner time. Hopefully, it'll be good news from Soldier Field.

Splintered Thread:

B E A R S . . .

Looking mighty WEAK right now against The Packers (down 7-6)...

How LONG before GROSSMAN comes back in to relieve ORTON?

Or how about this: get Terrell OWENS (only for the rest of the season!) THAT'S a TARGET for either ORTON or GROSSMAN!

FundAlarm.com

FundAlarm is a free, non-commercial Website. Our view of the mutual fund industry is slightly off-center. We help you decide when it's time to sell a fund, instead of when it's time to buy. The mutual fund industry is full of broken promises, arrogance, greed, hypocrisy -- the list goes on. We try to shine a light in the darker corners, and poke holes in balloons that could use some poking.

I've sent a few phone cards out to my son and his shipmates. These service people get paid close to minimum wage for the dedication they have to this country! Show them your support by doing a good thing! Contact the USO to get a list of what these people need!
