Hello Persia

Our 2006 predictions are coming true at an alarming rate - we might have them all covered before August! Laski ties into our "bad year" locally prediction. And this little item makes our "groundwork will begin for a new Mid-East war" speculation look like something Nostradamus might have predicted:
  • Members of the Fort Wayne-based 122nd Fighter Wing are scheduled to leave for Southwest Asia about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday from the unit'’s headquarters on Ferguson Road. It represents the wing'’s largest single deployment since it was called to Chambley, France, in 1961 during the Berlin Crisis. This deployment is in support of ongoing operations in the U.S. Central Command Air Forces (CENTAF) area of responsibility, which includes Southwest Asia. The unit will deploy fighter pilots, as well as maintenance and support personnel.
We're going into Iran - soon. Hat tip to Ace of Spades

Hmmm... $25 for registration, $10 for study materials, anyway you look at it, it's still $35 bucks down the "turlet".

SGT. Test registration: $25.00

Study materials from a smuck named Joe : $10.00

Scoring high only to lose your spot to a worthless dog, who is related to an old partner of a worthless boss: Priceless

I would amend that to read:

Cost to take exam $25.00

Cost of study materials $10.00

Cost of Gas to drive to Northside (since every test I've ever taken was up north) $5.00

Watching former classmates, who barely made it out of the Police Academy, and were consistently ranked at the bottom of the homeroom class, get repeated meritorious promotions: PRICELESS!

Yes, the Soviets lost fighting over there. Then they went broke. Will the U.S. follow in their path??? No one supports the U.S. in the rest of the world. They would love a bankrupt U.S.!

Great attitudes, you losers! "I'm not taking the test cause someone else who doesn't deserve it as much as I do may get it".

I bet most of you fucks spend more than $35 a week in the tavern! Stop the crying, take the test and see what happens. You may just surprise yourself.

$35 up front for a chance at an extra $10k and then some, each year for the rest of your career? Better odds than Vegas.

Oh yeah, back on topic: I really really hope we stay the fuck out of Iran at least until Iraq is sorted out.

Let's bomb the fuck out of them. ALL of them.

The dirty heathen dogs want to eradicate our way of life, dummies.

Dust off Richard the Lionheart, or better yet, Guy de Bouillon, and let's get down to business.

Should have bombed the whole area after 9/11. Iran, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan. Bomb them into...well they already live in the stone ages.

Then after God sorted it all out, we could have built maximum and super max prisons in the middle of the deserts. Ship all of our criminals out there. What a wonderful world.

The U.S. does not have the backbone to take on all of Arabia. Our troops are getting knocked off left and right in Iraq. The public wines about body-armor for out troops. The tactics used by the enemy forces will tie down large numbers of troops. Our troops are just open targets for them. And of course the general public in the U.S. does not support this war.

We need to deal with the Muslims like we did Japan. Total destruction! While nuclear weapons are politically unavailable as an option due to their downrange fallout, conventional carpet bombing of civilian areas would be just as effective. The whole region should be targeted and destroyed.

Only by destroying the enemy will we achieve peace and victory in the long term.

Left is the best, do you think that we have a responsibility to protect our way of life here ?

I agree that ours is a Theocracy beholden to the god of the corporation, but there is a higher calling here. These radical towelheads want us ALL dead, left right and center. Fuck them.

We need to be more like the Juden and start whacking motherfuckers.

Guy di Bullion lives !

"Marvelous star, here lies Duke Godfrey

Egypt's terror, putter to flight of the Arabs, scatterer of Persians;

Though elected king, king he would not be entitled

Nor crowned; but he was "the slave of Christ"

His was the care to restore Zion to her rights

As a Catholic to follow the sacred dogams of right and equity;

Thus also with the saints could he deserve a diadem

The army's mirror, the people's strength, the clergy's anchor."

In the parlance of our times,

Let's kick some heathen towelhead ass. Let the streets of Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Iran run red with the blood of the curs from the swords of our American sons.

Lefty? What the hell are you talking about? "Your way of thinking" is a recipe for thousands, maybe millions more American dead, not to mention our allies. "Your way of thinking" is what led us to this situation finally having to be resolved by a president with some balls. "Your way of thinking" is an anathema to every person who enjoys freedom.

The Boaden Methodology

Here in America we have Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting. In England they have Media Lens.

One point Media Lens makes repeatedly is that while the British media is better than that of the U.S., it’s often still horrible. And this sadly includes the U.K. “liberal” outfits that drive our right wing into a teeth-gnashing, pants-wetting frenzy, such as the BBC, Guardian, and Independent.

Recently Media Lens demonstrated how the BBC simply takes it as given that the U.S. and U.K. genuinely, no-crossies want to bring democracy to the mideast. When Media Lens asked the BBC’s director of news, Helen Boaden, what the evidence was for this, she replied that their “analysis of the underlying motivation of the coalition is borne out by many speeches and remarks made by both Mr Bush and Mr Blair.”

So there you have it: government figures have said something. And as anyone familiar with history knows, that means IT MUST BE TRUE.

I don’t know why everyone doesn’t adopt this standard, because it makes everything so much easier. For instance, by using what I call the “Boaden Methodology,” we can prove:

1. Napoleon’s motivation for invading Egypt in 1798 was to liberate Egyptians. Why? Because that’s what he said:

“I have not come to you except for the purpose of restoring your rights from the hands of the oppressors…”

2. England’s motivation for occupying Iraq in 1917 was to liberate Iraqis. That’s obvious, because that’s what the commanding British general said:

“Our armies do not come into your cities and lands as conquerors or enemies, but as liberators…”

3. Hitler’s motive for supporting a 1941 coup in Baghdad? Duh. It was to liberate Iraqis! If it weren’t, Hitler would never have said:

“The Arabian Freedom Movement in the Middle East is our natural ally…In this connection special importance is attached to the liberation of Iraq…”

Given all this, the real question is why Arabs are so skeptical about the obvious good intentions of Bush and Blair. My guess is, it has something to do with their primitive culture.
