The mayor won't promise the Clerk job to a hispanic and the aldercreatures are getting angry. How about he disband the office since it's pretty much useless anyway and run as a reformer? Too much of a stretch of the imagination?
How about finding someone qualified to run the office? Oh wait, qualified people avoid jobs like that because they might end up part of the problem and as the new guy, they'll end up in jail - kind of like that gangbanger running the "Hired Truck" scandal just before the Feds came in and started jailing people. Hmmm.

The Trib. wants an increase in the F.O.I.D. card fees. The state is looking into it. Looks like the retired guys will have to pay 100usc. a year to go armed in this state. And thats good. Illinois needs money, so lets tax the gun packing retired cops. If they want to carry make them pay.

I must confess. The literacy of alot of policeman is fawking horrible. Do you realize how imcompetent you look when you can't spell 6 and 7 letter words? Or know when to use "no" and "know"? Civilians surely read this and are sure we're all stupid. Not to mention the bashing of fellow officers, the very people we need to rely on when we need help. Get over yourself, my check is the same as yours no matter what unit you're in. So someone used their clout or their "assets" to make supervisor or go to a unit. Been like that forever. To 9:30 i'm not retired as a matter of fact i'm far from it. I just don't understand why guys like yourself keep ripping on the retirees for carrying. Do you think maybe they could of locked somebody up awhile ago who is a little disgruntled and would want to harm them if he had the chance. Another thing one of us could be ina situation and need a hand, maybe they would be able to help. But then again you sound like you've never done qa days worth of work anyhow, so you would never leave help.

It is a retro-fitted jump out van.
It scans every plate in front of the van (i.e. oncoming traffic, parked vehilcles on both sides, and the vehicle in front of the van)
HOWEVER, it only checks the plate against the hotfile, it only takes about a second.
It is pretty sweet, but to interested applicants: sorry but the posistions are already filled.

Hey if any of you civilians ever go to to Florida look around because Florida residents got guns. Lots and lots of guns. Indiana got em too. In fact if you get a Florida carry permit and you don t have to be a resident you can carry in 32 states.
Even California has carry. Although near L.A. you have to be connected, not so in Northern Cal.
