Missing K9

Bart is missing.

There is no further info than that. Links to the story at Channel 2 and Channel 7. Maybe this would be a good time to look into Global Positioning Systems for dogs? If they can make a system small enough to fit into your kid's backpack or small enough for an ankle bracelet, they ought to be able to put one into a dog collar.

Maybe we can argue for "first issue" so the mayor doesn't make you pay for it?

I saw Bart running with a pack of wild coyotes up in 016. They were chasing a hippo in a police uniform. I think it was beat 1611!

This chain letter was started in hopes of bringing relief to other tired and discouraged men. Unlike most chain letters, this one doesn't cost anything!

Just send a copy of this letter to five of your male friends who are equally tired and discontent.

Then bundle up your wife and/or girlfriend and send her to the man whose name appears at the top of the following list, and add your name to the bottom of the list.

When your turn comes, you will receive 15,625 women.

One of them is bound to be better than the one you already have.

At the writing of this letter, a friend of mine had already received 184 women, of whom four were worth keeping.

This chain also brings good luck.

One man's pit bull died, and the next day he received a Playboy playmate.

An unmarried Jewish man living with his widowed mother was able to choose between a Hooter's waitress and a Hollywood super model.

You can be lucky too, but DO NOT BREAK THE CHAIN! One man broke the chain and got his wife back again.

Let's keep it going, men!

Just add your name to the list below:

The coppers that got pinched at Homan Square are Turbyville and Ryan. These two ass licks were grabbed a couple of days ago for selling Steroids. I doubt it will go anywhere since they're tight w/ baby Cline (both worked in 011 w/ kid cline) and daddy.

I think the FOP would be against putting a GPS locator in the K9 pooches. But then again the FOP is pretty much not against anything the city does.

Good luck with the Bart search. I hope he doesn't bite anyone while he is roaming. He's probably laying up at some female pooch's crib.

I think Bart got jealous of all the Pub King got for the homicide pinch and left his handler for being a dog.

someone was working on the cop's home and left the gate open.

he cost about $30-40k.

you would think a microchip would be able to track him.

but then again, there's a rumor he's tired of being a cop and applied at the walmart in evergreen park. i think i even saw him on the forklift unloading a truck on the dock...

The micro-chip is only good if you have a handle on the animal and use a reader.
The reader is availavle at most vet's offices and will read it at no charge for police.

The GPS device is on a collar. See the movie "Firewall" (three and one/half stars from me), for how it can be used. Location can be called up on the internet. This is also good for wonder away seniors.

He should have come back on his own unless he got stolen. If he can't find his way home, he's too dumb to be a police dog.

I worked with both Turbyville and Ryan. They are class acts, good cops and if you were in a tight spot, you would want them on your side. I think that 4:03:57 sissy ought to find out facts before he slanders a couple of good guys. Remember, anyone can accuse you of anything. That doesn't mean automatically that it is valid.

K9 Bart was still missing as of 0730 hrs. Animal Care and Control was in 008 looking for K9 Bart the entire night. GPS collars are available for pets (globalpetfinder) and can be purchased through Amazon.com. Cost is $349.99 each. Maybe each K9 could get a uniform allowance to cover the cost! Probably not since all the bullet proof vests for the K9s were donated since the city wouldn't pick up the tab.

My understanding is the Area 2 Gun Team executed a search warrant of the coppers house based on the fact that the Canine copper failed to purchase the 'Dog Walker Park Un-leashed License' from the city.

I just saw their press conference on Channel 2, CLTV and Telemundo.

Bart is currently in the ERPS basket behind the 5th District desk waiting for some other inept civilian hack to transport him to ERPS to be stolen.

Considering Turbyville and Ryan are each big enough to have their own zip codes I think it was obvious what they were doing to themselves, in fact they were riminded several times about playing with fire(doin roids). However, I doubt anyone could have foreseen the FBI being involved. Ouch. Still, I agree w/ all posts here, They are innocent til proven otherwise.

For some reason I have stuck in my mind Bart running balls out down the block and skidding out on the corner in hot pursuit of the Purina Chuck Wagon.

Sadly, due to current department policy, the chase will have to be terminated since it was apparrently initially only for traffic charges. Bart, irate that the pursuit was terminated 30 seconds before a call came in for "Shots Fired, Offender driving Westbound in a tiny covered red and white checkerboard wagon and four tiny horses" and also pissed the sweet-ass CPD 'chopper' is only available during banker's hours, left his yard upset and is currently drinking himself midway into a three day binder at Groucho's surrounded by local 2-6 bustouts who are taking turns posing for pictures next to Bart, face down on the bar, head in a dog dish of Lite beer, one eyebrow shaved off with 'Ass Hat' written on his face in black marker...

Oh wait, that last part was me. Therapy not quite taking...

Unless you worked with Ryan or Turbyville, and know what kind of coppers they are, you don't know what it's like to be the police until you worked with the "real police". This dept. is typical about attacking great hardworking police officers and trying to destroy guys that want to go out there and do the job that nobody wants anymore! It's just like when they tried this bullshit with Krupa last year and found out later that they had the wrong copper! They put that kid thru so much shit for nothing, and now that he has been exonerated and his case has been UNFOUNDED, they have a giant multi-million dollar lawsuit on their hands for fucking with the wrong guy!! I hope Ryan and Turbyville stick it up the cities ass the same way Krupa did. Go get 'em!!!!!!!
