What a fu@#ed up city:
Revenue and CPD already had their time in the boxing ring, lol and Revenue lost ): Yeah double standard. You got tickets no prob.

Hey, who or what the heck is their protector/security person that's mentioned in article's, better yet is that a property custodian with a screwdriver or St. & Sans with a wrench? Guns need not apply.

Congratulations to the three Lieutenant's (two from 021) who sued the city and won over $350,000.
Note to CPD, if you discriminate against white people in the promotional process, you will reap the whirlwinds.

Congrat's, know all three of you have been thru hard and trying times. Remember, Watch Your Backs! City frowns on winners! You know the ploy, the bit Kool Aid drinkers and players will try to keep sticking it to you. Sad but true.

This dept. needs to be further investigated, on the way the powers conduct themselves by refusing to handle issues and complaints properly. The dept. is reactive not proactive and filled with vegeance! Stand up for what is right and wrong on this job and your fighting your way through steel doors without a crow bar, blow torch or bolt cutters.

I don't get it. This isn't about the streets of Chicago. He couldn't survive the OCCPUPANTS OF HIS OWN CAR in Chicago. I believe that you are not to say anything against the dead, but his killers were with him. They are people that he ascociated with. This has nothing to do with street violence. It's equivilent to a domestic homicide and you will never Police those away.

Note to the reading impaired person who typed this: They didn't win the discrimination part of the lawsuit. They won because the City retaliated against their complaints by transfering them to far away districts and different watches. HUGE difference.

CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THE SEAT BELT MISSION NEAR ADDISON AND CICERO FOUND THE SHOOTER FROM THE LATIN KING, OPPS, I MEAN MARINE, THAT WAS SHOT? CAN WE JUST STOP THESE STUPID MISSIONS!!! PLEASE!

You saying the kid was a Latin King? Are you sure it wasn't something he did in his younger days?

Article said he recently took the CPD test and his wife is a NYC PO. And the article said he served two tours as a marine in Iraq. Kids that get discipline in the marines don't tend so much to return to wayward youths, and its really not nice of you to bring up this suggestion unless you have solid evidence that he is a current gangbanger. I'm gonna be surprised if you do, and if you don't than please take it back.

WELL, HE WAS BACK FROM IRAQ. GOOD FOR HIM. HE WAS HANGING WITH HIS LATIN KING FRIENDS. ONE OF WHOM WAS ATTEMPTING TO KICK OUT A WINDOW IN A SQUAD CAR AFTER THE INCIDENT. HE WAS THEN ZAPPED. DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THAT? PROBABLY NOT. THERE IS MORE TO THE STORY... SOMETIMES YOU JUST CAN'T TAKE AWAY THE SHIT FROM THE SHITHEAD. I AM SURE THE SEAT BELT MISSION PROVED FRUITFUL.

Breaking news...

(I really didn't know using factual history was a conspiracy or that we were tring to intimidate people. Really.)

Plan for ‘Fred Hampton Way’ dropped

Tribune staff reports
Published April 26, 2006, 11:32 AM CDT

Ald. Madeline Haithcock (2nd) announced today she doesn't have the support to bring to a vote a controversial proposal to honor slain Black Panther leader Fred Hampton.

In a written statement distributed at the monthly City Council meeting this morning, Haithcock said that "certain interest groups have successfully conspired to confuse and intimidate the public on the issue."

"As a result, we do not have the necessary support to bring this matter to a vote in the City Council at this time," Haithcock said. "As of today, I will discontinue my efforts to pass the ordinance."

The Transportation Committee approved the honorary designation of a short section of West Monroe Street in February in what was considered at the time to be a vote on a list of routine items.

Only after the meeting did some chagrined aldermen discover that the proposal for "Chairman Fred Hampton Way" was meant to pay homage to the controversial Panther leader. Hampton was killed in 1969 during a police raid at his West Side apartment.

Committee Chairman Ald. Thomas Allen (38th) has wrestled since then with what to do, at first indicating he would hold the ordinance in committee, then suggesting that he might report it out to the full council and permit a floor vote.

On Monday, Allen said the City Council has more pressing issues to consider, and he would not bring the measure to the floor.

Under council rules, any alderman can discharge an ordinance from committee by mustering 26 of the council's 50 aldermanic votes.

Haithcock had vowed not to back down.

But in her statement Wednesday, she said the effort to get the street named for the controversial Hampton was "in no way intended to divide the City Council or disrespect the 13,000 individuals serving the Chicago Police Department."

Tribune staff reporter Gary Washburn contributed to this story.

What makes this guy a gangbanger?
A United States Marine, Home on leave, married to a New York Police Officer....oh yea! he was Hispanic, he just got to be a member of the Latin Kings

I heard that the Marine that was killed on the northside was NOT over gangbanging but was because of a gay love triangle between the Marine and Sailor Navy Boys.

What do Marines and Submarines have in common? Sailors go down on both of them!

Where do men that flunk out of the Marines go? The Navy!

Did you ever notice that most guys who join the Marines are usually 5'6" and under! Real men join the ARMY! And the Navy usually gets the fairy men.

My buddy told me that any guy that has the Marine synbol or stickers on the rear of his personal auto is secretly letting other know that he swings both ways. Some kind of homo code. Guys who wear the Marine pin on their CPD uniforms usually are 100 percent gay and dont swing both ways.

I seem to remember being berated yesterday, and over the past months, for suggesting the reason the brass weren't talking was because they were told to keep quiet over this DEAD issue.

You see, one can search the libraries for volumes of information from the past, but some information isn't kept in any archives, and isn't made available to the public.

The sign deal was politically dead from the second day of the controversey. It was never coming to a vote, and it was never going to be a reality. I tried to pass that information several times here, but some people wanted to keep pushing and pushing their agenda for no identifiable reason.

So what's the next useless cause to further disgruntle and lower the morale of the troops going to be?

4/26/2006 01:42:00 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

That's tough luck.

Many of us realize there is plenty of information that is kept classified. So?

Do we take a gamble and just sit back and relax, and hope for the best to come to light? HELL NO.

In the meantime, people were reaching out for help, only to have (SILENCE).

You call it an "agenda." Perhaps you don't know what the police memorial is about. The individuals who signed the petition DO.

P.s. Don't forget to buy a brick!

It appears a bunch of high school kids have invaded this site. While they are here, perhaps some of the adults could teach them good schoolboy and schoolgirl lessons. I'll start:

Lesson #1: Ranger school (Army) is far and away the most insanely difficult school to get through. They literally starve you for weeks to the point where you will eat dirt and drink swamp water.

Navy Seals are allowed to go through Ranger school. They have a HIGHER than average drop-out rate. Guess what else though (and this relates to the height comment above): The average graduate of Ranger school is below-average in height.

I'm 6'00 and not a graduate. But I'm always willing to help someone when they think they are throwing out an insult, and they themselves risk being the butt of the joke.

Lesson over

If you look at the past ISSUE of POICE STAR magazine when they featured a bio about Supt. Cline you will notice in one the picture's from the late 70's then Sgt. Cline is seen w/ P.O. Coleman and another P.O. arm in arm smiling for the camera. This should surprise NO ONE. As far as her ability or inability goes I remember there was this copper in court on a gun case which had got continued . I'm standing there and my case starts when Sgt. Coleman tries to get the Judge to change the continued court date from the gun case that just ended becaue the copper got it continued for a date which was his day off. Sgt. Coleman wanted the officer to continue it on a day he
was working. The copper kept telling her all dates were bad except the date he gave the Judge which happened to be his day off. Sgt. Coleman gets it brought to the Judge who looked at her like she was nuts and asked the copper if the date was good and of course the copper said yes and the date stayed the same. The look on Sgt. Colemns face was PRICELESS. She acted like that copper was taking money right out of her pocket, it was like "how dare this officer get paid for a court date (gun case no less) when he is working days".
If this is the future of the Dept. WE ARE DOOMED.
