Quick Hits

Just filling space people:
  • 150 pound catfish drags a Hungarian fisherman to his death. Who'd have thunk that fishing turns out to be an extreme sport?
  • An argument over citizenship leads to a shooting in North Carolina. We think this story, while unfortunate, will become more common place as the decade goes on. Passions are running deep over this issue.
  • Once again, the Laffer curve comes through. Cutting taxes INCREASES tax revenue! Tax receipts for the Federal government are running 11% AHEAD of last year. Now if Bush and company would stop spending money like drunken sailors, the deficit would be going down (yes, even while we're at war) and so would the national debt.
  • At least they got a CB#, right? Man dies while his bail is being posted at County Jail. Does anyone think the coppers will get a court date though?

FOP meeting by law amendments to remove sgts from the current board and waive dues for retirees as a condition of membership if Caperilli wants to charge them for a package deal of fop book stickers newsletter then that could be separate so the lodge isn't carring the full load. Cap's plan to rid the lodge of retirees because they didn't pay $25.00 is a joke. It was never about the 25.00 look at the budget in may newletter. Caperilli does not talk about the $1500.00 FOP donated to Coach Cap and his delasalle hs foot ball program by hosts an 8th grade tournament sponsored by fop. everyone knows thats how the Catholic scouts players they want to recruit for the hs team. and the Board donated to John's pet charity the big cost cutter watching every nickle spent only goes for others not you hey John. Sounds just like the city.

I really enjoyed this news headline this morning, "Mexico threatens suits over guard patrols." Mexico said tuesday it will file lawsuits in U.S. Federal courts if National Guard troops on the border become directly involved in detaining migrants. A quote from Mexican Foreign Secretary, Luis Ernesto Derbez (told to a mexican radio station)"If there is a real wave of rights abuses..if we see the National Guardstarting to directly participate in detaining people..we would immeadiately start filing lawsuits through our Consulates"

"What-the-fuck?" That's my quote! Do these fucker's have balls or what? I can't believe our neighbors to the south dictating what our National Policy issues should be.

Here is a thought mister..er, I mean Senor Derbez..Why don't you file some lawsuit against all your corrupt, drug smuggling,sell-out politicians down there.Then maybe build some schools and toilets, and just maybe some of your citizens would stay there instead of fleeing up north and entering America Illegally? Which by doing so, makes them CRIMINALS!

Sorry, Caperilli your an arrogant a#@. Your a know it all with limited knowledge who gives bad information to PO's. You will never get my vote. By the way that's our money you like to play with. Clean up your act! Hey, by any chance are you related to any Pol's?

Well, now we have the 21st century civil rights movement. At least that's what the movement likes to call itself. I guess no one is surprised their tied in with the peace movement. www.nohr4437.org/.

Amusing goggle, narco news and you can read what's allegdly going on in Mexico. Looks like their views are Pol's in US tied to big drug trade with Banker's Banamex & citigroup and Fox. Their angle is White House trying to once again get a Fox pick aka White House pick into upcoming Mexico Pres. race. Illegals being also driven by failed NAFTA and the belief For the People By the People. Seems Mexico just isnt doing well in the market arena, ya know, higher prices, lower wages, corporate globalization, lack of Mexicans buying failed NAFTA. Like this wasn't predicted prior to NAFTA.

Appears Fox may be playing all sides. Just another rich Pol in the making.
Seems Mexico is screaming about US being in their Business in violation of their constitution, crimes against their people in Mexico. Expect more activity between 27-29 May. Angle may be related to Mexico Pres. race which I think might be in August. Votes needed for both sides. What a scam. Ya have to wonder why our Pol's. seem so numb.

You should also check out how our Minuteman were being spied on and where the info. was coming from. Keep in mind this is a Peace Movement and they want us to take the first shot to really set it all into motion. Mexicans and other's have no intention on leaving, kinda like Daley ignorning a Fed. Law. 1960-70's remix.

Anybody out there, that can explain this to me!!!

I don't understand what grounds would a foreign Govt. have to sue regarding what we do on OUR side of the border????
Lawsuits threatened over U.S. Guard use

Items compiled from Tribune news services
Published May 17, 2006

NUEVO LAREDO, MEXICO -- Mexico warned Tuesday that it would file lawsuits in U.S. courts if National Guard troops detain immigrants on the border.

President Bush announced Monday that he will send 6,000 National Guard troops to the 2,000-mile U.S.-Mexico border, but he said the troops will provide intelligence and surveillance support to U.S. Border Patrol agents and will not catch and detain illegal immigrants.

"If there is a real wave of rights abuses, if we see the National Guard starting to directly participate in detaining people . . . we would immediately start filing lawsuits through our consulates," Foreign Secretary Luis Ernesto Derbez said in an interview with a Mexico City radio station.

Possibly cooperation on our soil, political pandering, and Puerto Rican advocates embracing all Latinos aka Mexico. By the way I love the way our tax dollars are being used for this nonsense by our Pol's and these special non-profit interest groups. Throw in the Ford foundation in Mexico and here who started up La Raza and assisted Aztlan second. Thus a portion of the answer. Money talks agenda walks in it's path. Big business, remember Fox was a Coca Cola executive. 3 parties embroiled in Mexico and their all connected (money). NAFTA 2nd half failed promise of open borders. Money going out of US by Mexicans into Mexico is their 2nd largets profit behind crude oil.

Border states were not prior informed about Nat'l guard. Nothing new was addressed their stalling, still say it's possibly tied into Fox's choice for Mexico's next president. Keep in mind US allowed Fox to come here to get votes when he ran in 2000 in Mexico. WTF get out the vote, youth vote non-profit special interest groups. Open boarders, US colonization movement by portion of Mexico's social movement. Fox in the UN. US citizens are being ignored a great disadvantage while illegal's are being drapped in the woe of racial discrimination nonsense. Were upside down with our flag how twisted is that?

Members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, Rep. Luis Gutierrez, D-Ill.,
Senate Rejects Bill on Border Security
Wednesday, May 17, 2006 5:19 AM EDT
The Associated Press
By SUZANNE GAMBOA

WASHINGTON (AP) — Supporters of immigration legislation are predicting they will pass a Senate bill giving millions of illegal immigrants a path to citizenship.

Critics of the legislation aren't giving up, saying they'll continue to try to reshape it.

Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., planned to offer an amendment that would erect more fencing along the nearly 2,000-mile U.S.-Mexican border, an idea similar to one passed in December by the House.

But in a win for supporters, what had been considered a poison pill provision before Easter was softened Tuesday by two of the bill's biggest critics and the defeats of two other proposals considered killer amendments left bill supporters smelling victory.

From the FOP update page:

DANNY DOFFIN UPDATE

On March 8, 1995, Chicago Police Officer Danny Doffyn (015th District) was killed in the line of duty. Danny's parents are senior citizens and Mr. Doffyn has been extremely ill for several years. The trial against Clyde Cowley, cop killer, is scheduled for May 23, 2006. Mr. and Mrs. Doffyn would truly appreciate your support during this very difficult time in their lives.

Defendant: Clyde Cowley
Re-Trial Date: May 23, 2006
Criminal Court House
2650 S. California
Judge: Preston Bowie
Room: 103

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So the question is NOW the FOP is throwing a benefit for an officer (on 2 June at the FOP Hall) who stole money out of DOFFIN's trust fund. This trust fund was for Danny's little girl for her eduction. The officer SHOULD have been arrested but instead was FIRED off the job last month.
NO ONE should buy a ticket for this scumbag's party.
NOW WHY is the FOP allowing this benefit.
To 04:06, first let em say that I don't agree with the officers decision to remove money from the fund. But just so you know he removed money to pay bills for some dumb broad he was involved with, however he replaced it back with the proper interest. Again I don't agree with it but to call him a thief is wrong to say he was an idiot with bad judgement would be a better term to use.
Nope.
Thief.
Unless he made prior arrangements with the intended donors/recipients about using the money as a loan and replacing it with interest within a given amount of time.
That way, the FAMILY will get the money. Please let me know and I will set it up.
The only reason he returned the money is because IAD put the screws to him and inquired about the missing money.. THEN THE MONEY WAS RETURNED TO THE ACCOUNT.
It sounds like there is a VERY SPECIAL PLACE IN HELL for this so called police officer who STOLE from an officer KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY.
Officer Danny Doffin was a single father taking care of his 7 year old daughter was he was shot dead by some fucking ANIMALS with an automatic rifle that faithful day.
His daughter, Britney was brought up by her elderly and poor grandparents. The grandfather is now dieing of cancer. The money from the trust fund was meant for her education. And this guy gives thousands of dollars to some bitch?
What’s this scum-bags name?
to 6:41 you are WRONG !!!!!! politicians go to jail for the same thing...its called failure to report income. but, to use money donated for a police officer's child's education and ease of pain and suffering that some mule stole her parent away from him or her for the rest of their life is worse than any criminal act i've seen. how dare you use the excuse that "some broad" made him pay her bills with it ? you are a poor excuse for a being...i'd say human being, but, what you did is not of the human kind. you didn't violate the trust of the public, you went one farther. you violated the trust of the police family in that you stole...not borrowed money for a fallen fellow officer's family. SHAME ON YOU !
RIGHT ON, the only reason he paid it back was because he got dragged into I.A.D., with States Attorney present, and told he would be indicted if he did not return the money immediately.
By the way, for the guy who thinks that the ASSHAT was a "Idiot" because he paid some broads bills, FYI, he FORGED the name of the other signatory on the account to write the checks.
So if it was a loan, why did he have to resort to FORGERY?
Also, we do not even know how much he really stole, because neither of them ever gave an accurate, verifiable, account of how much was collected.
There was a lot of money raised that night.
SIMPLE....HE STOLE THE KIDS MONEY....
P.S. his brother from a/3 sat, or gangs is the one pushing benefit, despite his sgt. telling him it might not be the best thing to do.
HATS OFF TO SGT.
P.P.S. While he had this money in his name, THE MONEY FROM THE BENEFIT, ABOUT 60 G, He got divorced, since money was in his name, wife coulda got half!!!!
FUCK HIM.. he should go to the penitentiary.
