To Mr. Zulu

Who were the clout sgts at the study group?

How was this any different from any other of Roberts study groups? You get out WHAT YOU put into ANY study group.

Sounds like you never were in a study group before.. You must of made sgt "merit" by sucking the same things that are on your "Zulu" website.

As far as LTs Study Groups are concerned, I see Beinstein has not announced how much his study group will be. I think Roberts’s group has knocked him out of the box.

He had a lot of balls to charge over $600 bucks in the past.

US Government list TOP TEN MOST DEADLIEST JOBS!

Sorry you bragging danger rangers, police didn't make the list!

1. Logging workers
Fatalities: 92.4 per 100,000 employed
Median pay: $30,080
Logging and timber workers duties include cutting down trees and cutting and moving logs, providing the raw material for countless products. The nature of their work puts them at constant risk of being killed by heavy, falling objects.

2. Aircraft pilots and flight engineers
Fatalities: 92.4 per 100,000 employed
Median pay: $135,430 – but may be much lower for commercial pilots.
Although aircraft pilots and flight engineers have one of the most dangerous jobs in the nation, don't swear off air travel just yet. This category also includes commercial pilots of smaller aircrafts – including crop dusters and air taxis – that are far more likely to crash than your typical 747.

3. Fishers and related workers
Fatalities: 86.4 per 100,000 employed
Median Pay: $28,220
Fishers endure storms, fog, wind and hazardous working conditions before bringing you the fresh salmon on your dinner plate. Perilous weather puts fishers at risk of drowning if their boat capsizes or they fall overboard. And if they suffer serious injuries while at sea, help isn't readily available.

4. Structural iron and steel workers
Fatalities: 47 per 100,000 employed
Median pay: $42,410
These workers climb dozens of stories to lay the iron and steel that form buildings, bridges and other structures. Despite strapping on harnesses and other safety gear, structural iron and steel workers face a high risk of fatal injuries from falls.

5. Refuse and recyclable material collectors
Fatalities: 43.2 per 100,000 employed
Median pay: $26,950
When refuse and recyclable material collectors take away your trash, they risk traffic accidents and fatal injuries from explosions of hazardous materials. According to a University of Miami study, the leading cause of on-the-job fatalities for these workers is impatient motorists who try to pass the garbage truck and hit the driver.

6. Farmers and ranchers
Fatalities: 37.5 per 100,000 employed
Median pay: $38,600
Farmers and ranchers raise animals and plant, cultivate and harvest crops used to produce our food. However, the tractors and machinery used by these workers can be very dangerous: Non-highway vehicle accidents accounted for 40 percent of occupational fatalities for farmers and ranchers in 2004.

7. Roofers
Fatalities: 34.9 per 100,000 employed
Median pay: $31,300
When these workers climb atop your house to build or repair your roof, they risk slipping or falling from scaffolds, ladders, or roofs, or burning themselves on hot bitumen.

8. Electrical power-line installers and repairers
Fatalities: 30 per 100,000 employed
Median pay: $49,700
When your lights go out, line installers and repairers climb power poles and towers to get your electricity up and running. Power lines are typically high off the ground, so workers are at high risk of injury due to falls. Plus, these workers are often at risk of electrocution from contact with the high-voltage power lines.

9. Driver/sales workers and truck drivers
Fatalities: 27.6 per 100,000 employed
Truck driver median pay: $33,870
Driver/sales worker median pay: $20,320
Truck drivers transport goods including cars and livestock, and driver/sales workers deliver and sell their firm's products over established routes. Both groups spend the majority of their time on the road, putting them at high risk of highway vehicle crashes.

10. Taxi drivers and chauffeurs
Fatalities: 24.2 per 100,000 employed
Median pay: $19,790
The dangers of shuttling around patrons go far beyond highway crashes. Taxi drivers, who often work alone and carry large amounts of cash, may also find themselves victims of robbery and homicide.

-----------------------------

You think a District Commander in patrol from 016 has any power in telling the Superintendent how to run the department???

No but the Commander is responsible for the morale of the district. Everyone hates him. After putting out a to-from with 100 rules listed,( SCC where is that document ?) and treating us like 2 year olds, it's hard to respect him. He has NO CLUE how to run a district. He is so hard up for activity, it has been suggested that contact cards be filled out for curfews and school absentees. Isn't that stupid? Not what the contact card system is for. 16 year old never been arrested, late for school one day. Yeah, real smart. So inbetween the 5 school checks, contact cards, movers, park checks, absentees, seat belt missions, doc missions, and school dismissals, it's really hard to be productive. Also remembering the sacred rules like not getting gas the first hour of your tour or the last hour and a half of your tour. Only one car is allowed to get gas at ORD without permission even though 3 other cars are closer to ORD than Sunnyside. The list goes on and on. I think my favorite one is NO PERSONALS an hour I think it is before the end of your tour? So if you have to take a piss or shit, you better plan it. HA
SCC post that stupid list of rules would ya?

Before you tell me to bid out if I don't like it. I have been elsewhere, I am happy with my 5 minute commute in rush hour traffic. I still work, but it's getting harder. 30 square miles is a lot of ground to cover and it's hard to do anything else when you are running from one end to the other. This commander is the worst we have had in 10 years. A little hint sir, if you treat people good, they produce for you.

I find it hard to believe you dind't know what you were getting when Price became commander of 016. When he was the watch commander in 023 on the 1st watch the troops started a revolt and Price went bye bye. He was later rewarded for his excellent work by being promoted to Dist Commander. The Kool Aid must have been very tasty for him. Fat Ass loves the N. Side so much he gave the Dist where more cops live than any other in the city a total JO for a dist commander. He's former IAD and has the personality of a smashed tomato. Wherever Price has gone he has lowered morale. Everyone of us who lives in 016 should go to our alderman and complain to get rid of this asshat. We don't have enough police and the few that r there should have it better than to put up with dad as the commander

To 12:43am....If you work in 016, why dont you go out and try to put a stop to the crime, instead your a dog ass trying to push the blame somewhere else, typical dog ass...Secondly, I work in 017 and I would take 1750 or 1790 over most Sgt's and Lt's on this dept. 1790 is old school, maybe sounds a bit funny, but he'd go to bat for ya in a second, and still loves to be involved..can't say that for most bosses. and 1750, the guy's great..leaves you alone, and trusts his guys/gals. Wouldn't hurt ya either. Get your shit straight before you start talking shit about the good bosses in 017. If you want someone to talk shit about, CAPT. This email was sent to the Mayor’s Office

With the series of abuses with the Water Department’s payroll scandal, I’m surprised no one has inspected/investigated the Chicago Police Department’s headquarters location.

First, very few members are working full, consecutive eight hours shifts. If sworn members assigned administrative positions at 35th Street have the ability to swipe in when they arrive at work, why shouldn’t they be required to swipe out? Ironically, the civilian employees at 35th Street are required to swipe in and swipe out. What prevents a sworn member assigned to an administrative position at 35th Street to simply swipe out when they leave?

Second, field personnel of the police department are scheduled to an 8 ½ hour shift, why are administrative positions of sworn personnel at 35th Street treated differently? For example, field personnel assigned to the 2nd Watch (days) work either 7 to 3:30 or 8 to 4:30. However, administrative positions of sworn members at 35th Street are scheduled to an 8 hour shift, 7 to 3, 8 to 4 or 9 to 5. Why are sworn personnel at 35th Street treated differently than field personnel? If sworn personnel assigned to administrative positions are treated different because their civilian counterparts work an 8 hour shift, then sworn personnel should be required to swipe out as their civilian counterparts?

Further, Sergeants and Lieutenants are given an extra .75 hours each day of overtime. The original line of reasoning for the extra overtime (.50 before) was that Supervisors arrive early and stay late. However, with the ability of members to swipe in and swipe out, do Sergeants and Lieutenants actually arrive early and stay late? Are civilian Supervisors at 35th Street given an extra .75 hour under the same reasoning?

Each year, each group has the ability to exchange 200 hours for money. The cost of such overtime is significant to the City. The City should ensure that these people of actually working such hours. If Sergeants, Lieutenants, Captains swipe in and swipe out, the City can determine whether the extra .75 hour per day is actually needed. When they exchange the hours for cash, they have committed a theft. If people demand the extra .75 of overtime each day or cite the contract, then simply make them work it.

Finally, someone who thinks that we should all swipe in and out. You sir, are an asshat. Enough said. If you don't like your job as a civilian, take the test or go get a typing job somewhere else.
