THIS is Priceless!

  • PORTLAND, Ore. -- A nurse returning from work discovered an intruder armed with a hammer in her home and strangled him with her bare hands, police said.
  • Susan Kuhnhausen, 51, ran to a neighbor's house after the confrontation Wednesday night. Police found the body of Edward Dalton Haffey, 59, a convicted felon with a long police record.
  • Neighbors said Kuhnhausen's size -- 5-foot-7 and 260 pounds -- may have given her an advantage. Haffey was about 5-foot-9 and 180 pounds
Hahahahahahahaha.

More Pricelessness! Again from the Sun Times:
  • NEW YORK -- Margaret Johnson might have looked like an easy target in her wheelchair.
  • But when a man tried to grab a chain off her neck Friday, the 56-year-old pulled out her .357 pistol, police said.
  • He suffered a bullet wound in the elbow and now faces a robbery charge, police said. Margaret Johnson, of Harlem, has a gun permit and does not face charges, police said.
So instead of being a passive easy victim, a weapon prevented another crime! Take that you bleeding heart liberals! And in Harlem no less.

In Cook County, she would have been arrested, Felony Review would have approved the charges with no problem or argument. Civilians are not allowed to kill criminals with impunity. Ed Burke would introduce an ordinance for all large people to be registered, and the A/2 gun team would raid any unregistered large person's home.

Father Nangle can't keep you from taking time, or stop the judicial process, but he is a good man, and is there for the police. I remember years ago when a friend of mine was in a jam Fr. Nangle came through for him and his family. Thanks again Father for the good that you do.

He is truly a gentleman and this department is lucky to have him. I have had several encounters with this man of the cloth and have always walked away feeling much better about life in general.

It boils down to this with Fr. Nangle, he likes us better than we like us.

Just read the comments posted here about this newest scandal in SOS. Some of "us" actually seem happy that these guys are in serious trouble. Sick.

Petty jealousies, a willingness to condemn these guys before ever hearing their side of things. It's in the papers so it must be true!

Let's start loving and even maybe respecting "us" as much as Father Nangle does.

True. Let's wait until all the evidence is in. Either way, innocent or guilty they can use our prayers as well as their family and friends.
