New Years Plans
Well, this just threw a wrench into everyone's plans:
- The NFL announced late Monday that the Bears-Green Bay Packers game scheduled for noon Sunday at Soldier Field would be moved to 7:15 p.m. on WMAQ-Ch. 5.
Now we have to be at the bar before heading to the party. And what about all the Gang/Tact, SOS and TRU teams? Are they going to have TV's at the mobilization locations? These are questions that need to be answered!

009th District has the Tulsa Power station on Ashland. Those of us in TRU will set up shop there. Sorry 009 pukes!!!
tru is working 8pm-4am. tentative plans staying in large groups mobile, high visability and ready on stand-bye for any outbreaks or 10-1's city wide. told to get all lunch's in by 9:30pm. riot gear on hand. plastic twist cuffs passed out at role call. no time off other than furlough and medical. that is all!
the parking lot will open 3 hours early. woo whoo. beer will stop being served after 1/2 time. booo. no tailgating after game. booo. extra tma's on the job (fucking strokes). avoid the mall at 63 halsted on new years eve. very dangerous!!!!

If what you say about TRU deployment on the New Years Eve is true, the blame lies with the bosses at Strategic Deployment, trying to spread the unit thin like that to provide more coverage than manpower allows, they will do the same with SOS and Mass Transit too then.

I concur. TRU will realize how SAFE they were in 009. 005 and 004 are the real deal. Those TRU coppers are going to get attacked and hurt. We have real bangers here in 005.
