off topic but true.....tact team in 021 got a guy with a pistol the other day around 44th and university where there had been numerous calls of shots-fired...the first question to them by the Tact LT was "why were out of your wolfpack mission." Forget about the footchase and the officers well being....the district is a joke from top to bottom

Off topic...there was ahome invasion in 022 earlier this afternoon. I won't give the address but it was in the 3400 block of west 115th Street. It seems Gypsies forced their way into a home of an 88 year old woman who luckily was able to fend them off. Early reports involve the Gypsies driving a black SUV. Let's keep our eyes open in 022 guys, these people have a lot of balls.

Yes, the trouble with Chicago cops is that they are the bottom of list. Most of the quality cops go work for the suburbs. Chicago ends up with the thugs and bust-outs.
These gypsy home invasions are happening all over the City preying on the elderly, posing as Com Ed workers, water department, home repair workers, landscapers, etc. They have used the black SUV previously as well as pick-ups, vans, and regular passenger vehicles. They use walkie talkies to communicate. Once #1 gets in the door and distracts these old folks, he radios to #2 who gets in and proceeds to take money and jewelry and then they are out of there before these poor souls know what hit them. Keep an eye out for the seniors on your beat, warn your neighbors and relatives. Tell them NOT to open the door for anyone.

IT WAS 1 BLOCK OUTSIDE THE DISTRICT, I WAS ONLY 45 SECONDS AWAY FROM THE LOCATION AND I WAS FIRST ON THE SCENE, BUT THE STROKE TOLD ME I WAS OUTSIDE MY PERIMETER/DISTRICT. EXCUSE ME, DOESN'T THIS PATCH AND BADGE SAY "CHICAGO POLICE". DIDN'T I TAKE AN OATH. I WOULDN'T BE DOING MY JOB IF I DIDN'T GO OR JUST LOOK THE OTHER WAY, ESPECIALLY IF THE CRIME IS LITERLY RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME OR A MERE SECONDS AWAY.

just the details...p.o's involved in the shooting were an fto/ppo car....lesson to recruits: always take your street stops seriously...dont talk to these shit bags out of your car...get out.

They often use the last name of Johns and are scum through and through. they target the elderly because it is very difficult to get a good ID. the people in A/2 and 022 and oak lawn PD are familiar with this scum, the younger one has a heroin habit these scumbags know how to work the system and are able to avoid. serious charges. Please watch out for your older neighbors and tell everyone to be aware of there home repair scams

I worked in the suburbs as a police officer for a couple years...there are plenty of idiots out there too! Never mind the mickey mouse micromanaging!
Coppers might look great, but writing parkers and movers your whole career, with a lucky felony pinch every great once and a while, does NOT make ANYONE a "quality" policeman.

Bullshit, CPD happens to get bad apples, but most coppers apply in Chicago first, many burbs and state police lose quality cadets to CPD.
Also, CPD is larger then all the police forces put together in the state.

It took the Lincolnwood Police 10 years to run those gypsies out of their town. People don't believe me that they even exist.
I would have to agree, the suburbs do have better quality police officers. I have never seen such a bunch of clowns and unprofessional a%$holes like I see daily in CPD. There are some clowns in the suburbs, but nothing like CPD. As long as we have residency, low hiring standards, and political clout running everything, the cycle will never end.

a few of my neighbors in the above mentioned vicinity were approached my mexicans or gypies in a blk SUV and asked them if their cars were for sale-a ploy to get in the house or on the property. both neighbors were middle aged females i didnt find out about until a week later any more reports arrests etc i know its not the DOC but........
Worked in 024 for years. The shooting didn't even happen in the JUNGLE, it happened in the 10 sector. 2411, 12, 13 are becoming the worst parts of that district. Thank you section 8. Glad to see those guys in 024 still got it....

Thank God this recruit wasn't afraid to shoot and run away like that incident on the southside w/ those 2 PPO's several months back.
Just to make it clear, M. Seiser only did the paper. He allowed one of his minions to get the hash mark.
The Seiser had court the next day, and did not need the overtime from the round table.
Since that (idiot) Pat Camden is always associated with covering messy things up for the CPD it unfortunately gives the air of cover-up to the public even in clean situations like this recent Rogers Park shooting... that's a real disservice to these (good) guys who are out there doing their jobs (and doing a great job of it). Why doesn't this city put Camden out to pasture - i.e. send him off to a tanning bed in the great beyond.
