Surprise Surprise

  • Police executed a search warrant at the Plainfield home of Lisa Stebic, who has been missing since April 30.
  • Officials said some items were removed from the home, which Lisa shares with her estranged husband, Craig.
  • Police are also searching two vehicles owned by the couple.
  • Stebic's family has offered a $20,000-reward for information leading to her return...
The husband did it! The husband did it!

We'll take the $20,000 in cash please. Forward it to SCC.

I'd be willing to offer my consulting services to that future x-husband.
When we meet though, we've got to find a restaurant that serves murderers!

Um, you do not need a body. Courts ruled several years ago and people have been convicted of murder with no body found. better go back to Police Law 101.

This guy is realllllll dumb. Tries to improve on the last big spouse/disappearance murder and thinks he is smarter. If he was so smart, he would totally stay off the media and clam up. I guess he just can't help himself.

Give me fifteen minutes with the mope and I'll have a confession and the body. God bless Jon Burge.

No big mystery here...man loves wife, wife loves man, man finds comfort in another and gets caught. Wife threatens to take him to the cleaners, man removes threat from equation. In the meantime, people grow suspicious, man communicates thru lawyer, no body found and suspects dwindle down to one...man. I'm glad he thought this one thru. Hell, he can always blame it on OJ.

Bring back John Burge to extract a confession from the husband the old fashioned way. Field phone anyone? Typewriter cover? Yellow pages? C'mon people let's get 'em!

More old fashioned ways to get a confession:

Throw the old manual typewriter at him.
Stick his face in the toilet.
Shove your S&W (unloaded) in his mouth.

Maybe there's few other from 70's TV shows that will follow later.

No body, No crime. If no trace evidence can be found, how can one be guilty? She must have run off with her Polish/Russian boyfriend. They are hiding in Gadnsk.

It is 0800 Hrs, Thursday , 17 May and I have already seen the so called Abatte beating three times along with the Jefferson Tap update. I think they are actually helping his case by showing it so much as it takes away the shock value somewhat.

For those pulling the 'No body, No crime' bit: Corpus Delecti - the Delectable Corpse, refers not to the body of a victim, but to the 'body' of the crime.
Basically, that there is evidence that a crime has occured.
This is, indeed, Law 101
