- A Capitol Hill house where Sen. Barack Obama rents an apartment caught on fire Sunday, but a spokesman said the Democratic presidential contender was out of town to celebrate Father's Day.
The fire appeared to be on the third floor of a town house in northeast Washington, and was likely caused by a faulty ceiling fan, said Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs. Obama rents an apartment on the second floor, Gibbs said.
Ah yes, the old "got the wrong floor" excuse. We think we saw that in a movie once. Watch your back Barrack - she'll stop at nothing to gain power.

the news stated all his fund raising documents were destroyed then in todays suntimes lordy in the headlines osama obama stated he got about 60K from rezko but it was revealed he got at least 3X that amount maybe more! more "family secrets" then we have a fire that destroyed osamas records strange indeed! Can you smell a possible indictment how about a big one with obama-daley-blago-stroger you know the whole combine to prison!
It was caused by a space heater and all of Barack's Christmas toys got burned up.

Carter what a goof don't forget it was his adminstration that screwed the hostages in iran who were AMERICAN! he waited and waited then on the day Reagan was sworn in they were all released after 444 days of being detained why? Simple REAGAN would of used muscle to get them out, and if osama or hillary gets in watch out! THE LIBERALS WILL BE EVERYWHERE AND SHE LIKE HER HUSBAND BILLY WHO WAS BUSY BEING SUCKED OFF WILL DO NOTHING!
