Shots Fired at Police
- One person was reportedly killed in a police-involved shooting in Rogers Park on the North Side Tuesday night.
- A Chicago Fire Department dispatcher said paramedics are on the scene of 1321 W. Pratt Ave., as of about 8:15 p.m., responding to reports of a gunshot victim. Fire Media Affairs Director Larry Langford said there was one victim on the scene, reportedly dead, and reportedly shot by police. There were no other injuries reported from the scene, Langford said.
- Just prior to the reported shooting victim, police had issued a 10-1 call -- for an officer needing assistance, for shots reportedly being fired at police.

Also shots fired at/by the police in 009 tonight around 44th-45th & Wentworth, coppers not hurt, don't have any more details yet...
Another "victim" shot by the police. I hope the media added that and it wasn't the CFD guy. Anyway, street stop, shithead runs, police chase, shithead shoots, police shoot, shithead runs some more, police chase, shithead goes to fire again, police shoot. Head shot. Shithead dead. Ultimate police work done by two nice coppers. All police involved went home healthy. Another shithead dead which means, odds are, probably another robbery pattern cleared.
There were also shots fired at the police in 009 last night. Is it just me or are these shitheads getting bolder. Remember, any shooting you walk away from is a good shooting. Stay safe and watch each others back. It really is us against them out there.
It was a good shoot, and the officers are ok! looks like another Just Cause against the Gangster Disciples.
Thankfully we won this battle! Being in the KMA club all the years on the street it has never been as bad that I can recall with people shooting at us! Guess because we have an administration full of cop haters from daley on down!
He took three shots at the police and the good guys fired back... He gone. Good riddance.

The 24th district gets it's share of shootings. This is the second PO shooting this year in Rogers Park; good guys 2 bad guys 0. Be safe everyone.
Most of those shots fired are just fireworks.

That thing on Father's day in 009 was at Sherman park at like 51 or 5200 S. Loomis Area 1 Midnight gang team walked into a shitload of gunfire from an AK -47 and a bunch of other weapons. Bunch of foot chases and a vehicle chase, great responses by everyone. Area 1 midnight gang guys recovered the AK and during another foot chase some guys from 009 recovered a .45 and arrested the shithead running with it. Great job by Area 1 midnight gang guys and 009 guys and gals, plus K-9, and i think SOS was there too, horrible job by the zone 13 dispather ghetto bitch was horrible. No coppers hurt thank god that could have been bad.
The bad guy is just as dead and he was shot with a gun from the old order.
Hey SCC why don't you publish the truth we have been hearing about the Area One sgt n h going home early and not knowing Det. P J was shot by the animal. She came back to the Area but had to leave becuase she was tired. P J was still on the operating room table fighting for his life and she went home. She told her supervisors to have someone else fill out all the paper for P J. She is one of reasons moral sucks on this job. Becareful, stay safe and know who you work for!
As a life long resident of Rogers Park, I am thanking the Men/Women in Blue who go out everyday and put it all on the line for us. Bravo. Thank You.

Yeah, lets keep them SOS boys in a slow rolling violence zone. Homocides and "death investigations" are up, police shootings are out of control, kids can't go to school or even play outside without getting shot.

A. Someone gets shot, but you don't know anything about how it happened, and you don't even know if it was a male or female, or if the one who was shot was a good guy or a bad guy, but you gotta get the story out as quick as you can with the barest of facts, what do you call the person who got the bullet? And remember, you're not writing for a blog or talking to your buddies, either. 'Victim' is a word until the subject has a name or other identifying factor, not a judgement of character being made.
Note, also, that as soon as police said the guy was a GD, and he was the one who shot at police, the word 'victim' disappeared and was replaced by 'shooter,' 'suspect,' 'offender' or just 'the man.'

The dept has made the once great SOS unit into nothing more than a crossing guard unit! release these guys ley them do what they do best lock up the bad guys! Get guns!
