Another Police Shooting

And once again, bad guy in the hospital, cops go home safe, and about 147 witnesses who'll swear the offender wasn't selling dope, pointing guns or raping, robbing and pillaging the various neighborhoods of the west side:
  • Chicago police shot and wounded a man late Thursday night on the city's West Side, police said.

The shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. in the 3900 block of West Wilcox Street in the East Garfield Park neighborhood, said Chicago Police Officer Amina Greer.

Not to second guess but, If you can shoot 5 rounds in less than 3 seconds than shoot 5 and send him to the cemetary instead of the hospital. He'll be a no-show at the lawsuit.

Florida's got it right. Bravo for Sheriff Judd!!!

As reported earlier, some dirtbag who got pulled over in a routine traffic stop in Florida ended up "executing" the deputy who stopped him. The deputy was shot eight times, including once behind his right ear at close range.. Another deputy was wounded and a police dog killed. A statewide manhunt ensued. The low-life was found hiding in a wooded area with his gun.

SWAT team officers fired and hit the guy 68 times.

Now here's the kicker:

Naturally, the media asked why they shot him 68 times.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, told the Orlando Sentinel,

"That's all the bullets we had."

Florida's got it right. Bravo for Sheriff Judd!!!

Be Safe

Miami anyone????? To bad we can vote to replace 85% of the exempts!!

MIAMI --

Miami Police Chief John Timoney is under fire from the city's police union, which has scheduled a vote on whether to declare a lack of confidence in his leadership.

Miami police officers met at union hall Wednesday and decided to call for a full membership vote of no confidence in Timoney, who had been driving around for more than a year in a hybrid Lexus for free, union leaders claimed.

"The membership (Wednesday) voted that we should have a new chief of police," said Armando Aguilar, president of Miami's Fraternal Order of Police. "We want the chief of police and the deputy chief out of here."

The union leadership has had issues with the chief before, but nothing has rankled them to the point of voting for his ouster.

"I was appalled, because we have standards and I would think that the chief is held to that same standard that police officers are held to," said Vernell Reynolds with the Miami Police Benevolent Association.

Ex-cop indicted in credit card felony
A retired Chicago police officer was indicted today on felony charges of possessing credit cards that did not belong to him, authorities said.

Robert Maloblocki, 52, was arrested last month during a traffic stop on the North Side when police found 12 credit cards in his possession from card holders who had "never given him permission to use [them]," said Andy Conklin, a spokesman for the Cook County state's attorney's office.

Maloblocki was stopped by police for a minor traffic violation in the 1600 block of West Irving Park Road on July 22, Conklin said. He showed police an identification card that indicated he was an active police officer, but he later admitted he was retired, authorities said.

Thug is as thug does.

Degenerate is as degenerate does.

Illiterate is as illiterate does.

Squawking pseudo-reverends,lying neighbors, and a level of crudity and attempted intimidation of anyone or anything decent(that still bothers me sometimes) will not change this reality.

If one acts sub-human, it's only a matter of time until everybody else realizes that you are little more than overhead that the productive must pay for. This cannot last in the hyper-competitive world we are now a part of.

Nowhere else on earth do those that do so little and cause so much dischord , complain so loudly!

Marched on 006 today, ignorance at it's best. Didn't understand they had to stay on the sidewalk. Made a "prayer" circle in the middle of 79/Halsted. Some good reverend leading the chanting etc. It was amusing to see the "protestors" that have pending gun cases marching with them. People with cameras that tell you they can't be arrested for being in the street because they are PHOTOGRAPHERS. {no creds displayed}

It was good to see about 60-75 people that hate the PO-Lease and therefore we will no longer be recieving calls to their domestic with the 10 year olds and the baby-mama-drama and the gangbanger that didn't have a gun that carjacked them and the...well hell, you get the point.

Saw this latest shooting on tv. The media never said if the 17 year old was actually armed, or if a weapon was recovered from him.
Don't get me wrong, the kid was suspicious
(Wearing a heavy jacket in this high humidity and warm temps)n but the issue over whether or not the suspect was armed needs to be clarified.
Even if the kid wasn't, if the officer was in fear of his life, he did the right thing.

ref post 8-24 @447....first my question is after showing the police id why was his wallet searched?second, he sounds like a real piece of shit and good for the coppers who locked him up. i must admitt that i never after viewing a police id would take it any further than a "see you later" and then been on my way.i would have never thought about searching through his wallet but i dont have all the facts infront of me. the asa's office are assholes and i have every intention of writing them any chance i get. its always a double standard about who they approve charges against. this retired cop got what he deserved and im not defending him by any means. but here is another example that was denied by the good old states attorney (asa crowe). i work in 010 and stopped the illegal for traffic stuff. of course the usual no license/no insurance and the all so common phrase "no english and no license" when spoken to. this person is arrested and a search of the old wallet reveal two fake ids being a social security card and permanent visa card. both had different information (name and dob) than the real mexico consulate card given. well after verifying the cards i learned that both were real numbers issued to someone else.the old identity theft and a good felony. well the asa told me verbatim " was i lied to by the defendant and did he attempt to produce the cards" well, what idiot is going to give the police fake ids even though i know it does happen at times. the asa response was " im not approving a felony because we dont know what he is using the cards for and he never tried to produce them". only in good old cook county. as a victim it must be reasuring to know that some shithead can have your social security number with their name on a card and its ok because he didnt lie to the police when stopped(of course he didnt lie because he doesnt speak english) and the asa doesnt know why he has the cards. sounds like a double standard to me.i cant understand why there are so many people in support of these illegals after they were convicted of a felony and deported for their crimes. my response to the people who view and respond to the topics is " if you are so sorry and feel that these people are being discriminated against(elvira arellano) let them use your social security number to work, or your kids numbers to work, or your parents numbers to work.im sure your attitude would change your bleeding heart if you became the victim of identity theft. lastly, before the hispanic readers jump down my throat because most of the comments in support of not deporting this felon are from this nationality....i am hispanic..proud of it but not of the actions by my people!there is no white power in the above statement just frustration with the actions read on the blog

I said "formal" notification...you know, the one where the paper car actually picks up a phone and calls the Area.

There's a specific form we have to fill out, which has certain questions that must be asked...not the info we get over the radio or from the first car on the scene.

Stop upstairs sometime and have a look. Then, the next time you call us, you'll be prepared, instead of saying, "Wait a minute." or "Can I call you back with that info later

RE: anonymous said... ex-cop indicted in credit card felony.

What wasn't mentioned was Malobloki was caught cruising the he-she infested Belmont/Sheffield area and in his possession were dozens of transvestite magazines in which a few were placed in his property bag for the lockup. It makes me laugh to think what county did when they saw that! He also frequented the A3 gym, telling everyone he was A5 youth. Let's get the cleaning crew down there and disinfect the gym.

Just a theory: he was showing his active ID (and I'm sure he has an extra star lying around) and offering protection to the he-shes in exchange for "homosexual relations". The credit cards were proceeds from their pickpocket/robbery activities. And I'm sure he was just as big of a piece of shit on the job as off.

SICK ASSHOLE GOT WHAT HE DESERVED.

Hey, Mr. Big-City Detective--why do you need a formal notification? The beat cars on the scene of a shooting like that have a lot more to do than just call you on the phone and answer a bunch of questions that you could easily find out by coming out and taking a look. You're going to have to be there anyway.

Now, kees me you fool!!!

Spearheading the investigation are they? Maybe preparing witnesses for the round table? Please tell me all the important things a paper car does at a police shooting. Oh yes...notifications; well those aren't important according to you. What's next? Putting up tape? I see what you mean now.

How about trying to control a hostile crowd at the scene, which is almost always the case whether it's a police shooting or not, yes putting up tape, I know it sounds like it is beneath you but it's the first thing you are taught, crime scene integrity! how about trying to find a cooperating witness, starting the canvass, which is actually the D units job, once again, get off your high horse and quit the self-inportance. In the old days before cell phones, you got out to the scene to get the info, or you waited till the beat car went into the station and faxed a copy...

Please don't tell me your a PO (Detective unit's secretary) bitching because the Beat (working) copper calls you sometimes without all the answers to your questionnaire? It must be a hassle to have to put down your sandwich (most likely pizza or gyros) and pick up the phone when he/she calls back with the answer he/she couldn't answer before. If it bothers you that much then maybe you should go back to the district to tell us what we need to know so we won't bother you with numerous phone calls. Jagoff!!!
