More Indictments

How much more do we have to be smacked around before everyone completely gives up doing any police work for this mayor, this superintendent and this town?

Shortcuts wouldn't seem to rise to the level of "Official Misconduct" and certainly not to the level of 5 to 10 in the joint.

Read the Sun Times article if you care. We're rapidly losing our ability to care at all.

UPDATE: We didn't endorse lying. Stop thinking we did. But if you want cops to follow every single procedural nicety written by someone who has no idea what actual enforcing the law entails, you're going very shortly have no cops on the street. Or at least none doing any proactive police work.

Everyone out there is putting their lives in danger everyday just by coming to work. Our hope at the end of the day is to make it home safely. Then, because you make an honest mistake on a piece of paper, you get indicted and stripped. D.M and M.B are two of the most honest and kindest people I know. It's really a disgrace what happened to them. If someone from IAD or from the superintendent's office is reading this blog-you really need to see that you are screwing up these two great police officer's lives and that they should get their jobs back immediately. Everyone in the 8th district has your Murph and Bernichio. I've had the pleasure working with you both and I think that you are both a great asset to this city. Love-Sherry 62ndpl/Kedzie ;)

These politicians who believe that they are cleaning up the city are in for a rude awakening. The days of proactive policing are over. I can't count the number of friends that were "working police" who have told me that it isn't worth it anymore.
For every copper like M.B. that they screw over, 20 working police (at least) will stop working. Twenty working police do more to prevent crime than 300 cops who just "do their job". I know M.B. and if he sent the guy to prison, that is where the guy belonged. To the liberals and police haters that cheer at these headlines.....just wait you are about to get the city you deserve. The powers that be vastly underestimate the effect that proactive policing has on keeping a lid on mayhem in this city.

SCC-

There's a difference between shortcuts and blatant stupidity. If Haleas was dumb enough to do things in front of (2) ASA's (who will flip on you as quickly as a west-side shooting witness) then he deserves what he gets. I mean, c'mon, where's the common sense here...or was he too caught up in his own hype to think he was above it all.
And, judging from your own comment, sounds like you condone such behaviour (unless I missed the subtle sarcasm....?)

Why use shortcuts for a DUI arrest? Follow the proper procedures and complete the SFST. Why lie on a simple arrest? Then he "shortcuts" with a ASA as a ride along. When does common sense start? DUI arrests are a simple procedure, no reason to lie and fake tests.

Just remember, every officer in this city is a potential $50 million liability for the city taxpayers.

That means that two officers are a potential $100 million dollar liability.

That, of course, would mean that 20 officers could potentially cost the city taxpayers $1 billion.

Just a thought.

is the correct response to be pissed off at the world for picking on cops? maybe if they had done their jobs correctly this wouldn't be an issue. the fact that cops blame everybody but the guys who fucked up, helps fuel the perception that cops feel they are above the law. the amount of supervision you bitch about is very common in the private sector. if you hate the job, come on out in the private sector. find out how fast you can get your ass fired for doing things the wrong way. cost your company a few million? your history, not quite like spending taxpayer money to compensate torture victims. if the job is so awful quit. there is a long line of people to take your seat on the gravy train.

I worked with M.B. early in my CPD career and can honestly say he's one of the best street cops out there. Yeah he may milk the Medical or take time a lot, but everyone has some qwerk. Let's face it - it makes some funny stories over the years - his excuses are priceless. From what I understand (THIS IS WHAT I HEARD), this is more of a typo than anything. 2 guys brought in (This is 2004 and you know how many PDT's don't work in 2008!) 1 let go. When they complete the arrest/Case in different rooms (Old 8th Dist.) they have different names on some reports. They both MEAN the same guy, but it's just a typo.(Crap - who'd we let go again?) They meant Joe blow - not John Doe. They go to court, tell everyone - including Judge Vicki what had happened (Mostly our friend) and the guy GETS CONVICTED. The Appellate court hears the case and instead of saying 'You guy's did some sloppy work' they say ' You lied and just guessed who to put in jail'. Another railroad job. Remember this was in the paper and that usually means you're gonna get fucked no matter what.. hell even if there is a VIDEO showing YOU were right, the City's attitude now is - Fuck you sue to get your job back.

Let's all remember this when we are at work this summer and all hell breaks loose.

I don't know all the details of these officer's indictments. But, it still amazes me everyday that officers in this department just can't do things the right way, follow procedure, tell the truth, not beat people, and fill out the proper paperwork. It's really sad to see these officers go through this, but I would have to assume they contributed greatly to their situation. Everyone has to realize by the obvious low morale, that this new Sup and the City DO NOT CARE about any of us. It is way cheaper for the city to burry an officer killed on duty than pay out a lawsuit to some dirtbag. Please do you and others around you a favor and don't give Weis, the City, or the "community" the satisfaction of seeing you or another officer go down and lose everything. It is not worth it. Proactive policing is not the popular thing right now in Chicago. I would suggest leaving and going to the Suburbs or another state where morale & support for the police is higher. If not, then come to work here at CPD, answer your calls, and help a legit victim if need be, and go home to your family. When revenue slows down from a lack of tickets and impounds, then maybe the city will wake up. We have no contract and an administration that wants to make their legacy on how many coppers they can fire. Please, slow down the pro-active police work, control your temper out their on the beat, and do things the way you are suppose too and tell the truth. More often than not the lie will get you in more trouble than the original incident.

May I also suggest keeping yourselves close to God. It helps keep you ethical and moral out their on the street.

I am in my 18th year on the job and have seen a lot of coppers get unjustly fucked in that time, sometimes it was bad luck or just a mistake but this is the all time biggest fuck job of them all. I met Mike when he was a PPO in Englewood and he has been my friend since then. I met Danny when I got to 008 in 2001. Mike and Danny are the two finest Police officers on the job. I have loved this job from the day I started and in all the ups and downs bad and good, I’ve never stopped. This is the first time that I can’t say I love my job. I find it hard to put into words how it feels to see two of the finest Policemen getting so unjustly fucked. This is just wrong. In the end I know they will be vindicated and those who have did this to them know this as well. That’s what makes this situation even more sickening. To put these guys through the grinder for no reason truly shameful and tarnishes the Office of The States Attorney.

Some of you who read this might know Mike and Danny and most of you probably don’t. This situation could have happened to anyone of us on the job. I for one will be standing shoulder to shoulder with them through this and giving all the support I can because they have done that for me and would do the same for anyone on the job.

Those of you who are whining are way off base. This copper is one of the more stupid ones. He have two ASA's with you and he "cuts corners" or however you want to say it, and think he got fucked over? C'mon...you people aren't that stupid are you?

You do your job the right way and it's almost impossible to get jammed up, that has been the case always. Now this rimrod has two ASA's with him and he doesn't do things the right way? And people are surprised it bit him in the ass?

I've been on the job a long time, and I did a lot of DUI's. I went through all the steps like you're supposed to, and I didn't have ASA's shadowing me. Win or lose in court, I didn't care, just as long as I did it the best I could.

I'm sorry this guy is getting fucked over, but he can find the real source of his problems by looking in the mirror.

If you shoot yourself in the foot, don't complain that you're bleeding and you're a cripple.

Thank you for the kind words,it's good people like you that make what we do worthwhile. However it has become too much of a risk to be proactive these days. I don't mean getting hurt or even shot while doing the job, that is a risk we all knew could happen to us when we joined the dept. If I make a mistake on a piece of paper the brass and ASA's will now call it Official misconduct, perjury, lies, a rule 14 violation, and will be looking to indict me. I am not afraid of gang members, drug dealers, robbers, burglars, rapists, or even murderers. I am afraid of the corrupt politicians here (on and off the job) that would make me and other working officers scapegoats for their political agenda. We see it as headhunting of police officers, it looks really good for an ASA to say he/she got a "BAD COP" off the street. Those of us working cops who aren't clouted up know we have to walk a very fine line to stay on the job and out of prison. That line has become much too thin to do the balancing act anymore.

This post is for the non-police who are writing in support and appreciation of your law enforcement officers. First, I would like to thank you for your kind words, it always feels good when someone takes notice of the work we do and appreciates our efforts.

But, I would like to offer up a challenge to you and all of those in this city who see and know all of the good that the police do, all of the sacrifices that we make and how the lives of all those in this city would be different if nobody was on the other end of a 911 call.

The challenge is to step up and voice your support to the media, to the Superintendent, to the Mayor, to the City. The only voices that are heard today are from the police bashing media, police hating racial groups, police hating liberals, police hating politicians along with no support from our brass or the city government. We need you to stand up and support us.

We can only take so much before our hands become tied and every police officer does the bare minimum. Anything more and you face being fired or put in prison. The good people will suffer, the city will reverse itself 30 years and become a wasteland. All who bash the police along with the City government and Police brass who do not support its officers seem to have a very short memory. They are the same people who sent its officers to "do whatever needed to be done" to clean up the city and clean it got! The expansions north, south and west were made possbile off the backs and hard work of Chicago Police officers. Whats going to happen when the police step down to become reactive report writers?

Please... Voice your support to the world and let them know you will not allow them to destroy your city.

Thanks

Stay tuned for a news story from an investigative reporter. From information I am getting, a news person has dug up a story about officers being at call back for long period of times even after their cases have been completed!
This story will make the department look very bad. I guess one of the reasons was the city screwed up and some cases were so badly investigated, that they are afraid of paying millions in bandaids.
One suit already filed last week and several more in the weeks to come.
Stay tuned...

Listen boys and girls (really the boys because the girls just steal a paycheck, okay I'm sorry the few girls that do police work) I will tell you what our Pussy FOP wont tell you.
Stop doing proactive police work!!!!
I cant believe all these FNG's in TRU, SAT-TEAMS, and Gang/Tact teams on the radio doing foot chases, man w/gun, gang disturbance, and the infamous school dismissals. Even getting into car accidents responding to these calls. They ain't worth it, make a honest mistake in a decision in which you had to make in two seconds can have you second guessed, indicted, and facing prison. For what????? You will still be getting the same pay as one of those house cats at 35/mich.Kill a person responding to call driving balls out and see if you don't get charged with reckless homicide. Take you time responding obey all traffic laws and nothing came be done to you.
Write your Parker's only on #1's and your movers only T/A's. Also if you do a mover don't generate revenue for the city. Document the stop on those stupid blue traffic cards and issue a warning. Keep a record of them so when your watch commander asks why your movers are down you have proof that are conducting traffic stops and ask him/her if there is a quota you have to meet.
Police work can be fun and rewarding but not fat the price of losing your freedom. I hope you FNG take the advice from a lot of seasoned and veteran officers on this blog and stop taking these unnecessary risks. I hope I don't have to hear about another P.O. going to prison for doing their job. Stay safe and go home to your families. And finally FOP start looking out for your membership instead of worrying about pissing off the Mayor, he is to fuck us regardless on how you embarrass him in the media.92-4B

The two POs from 008 grabbed two guys for narcotic investigation. One of the guys is brought in with the offender because he was with him at time of arrest and possibly involved. They name check both while in the station for warrants and Investigative Alerts. One PO writes the case report and the other PO writes the arrest report. Keep in mind the officers just met these two about 30 minutes before they start writing paper. One PO identifies the offender with the drugs on his report and the other PO incorrectly identifies the second person as the offender. The PO mixed up the names. A honest mistake. The right offender is the one put into the lock up and charged. At court the ASA's ask about the discrepancies in the arrest and case report. The officers read the reports and explain they made a mistake on the one report. The officers go into court and get sworn in. They testify about what they saw and the mistake they made by placing the wrong name on the case report. A judge finds the bad guy guilty. Believes the officers. The bad guy appeals and the appellate court throws out the conviction because of the error on the case report. The officers openly admitted to the innocent error in court! Now they get charged with perjury! Unbelievable.

Thats another PROBLEM in arrests, if off in found not-guilty by crack head jury or Liberal judge. you my friend "PO" are open to CIVIL liability. I don't care if you are a know it all lawyer, the jury and judge still override your GREAT arrest report! DONT ARREST ANYONE WITHOUT A COMPLAINT, MAKE THE BITCH SIGNs AT DOMESTICS AND TELL HER SHE MUST SIGN. TAKE YOUR TIME AND DO GOOD PAPER AND FORGET LATE ARRESTS, YOUR TIRED AND PAPER USUALLY SUFFERS. DUI is another story, cameras are all over so you better be 100% on your game, these YUPPIES and BANGERS will hire a $15000 lawyer and for that $ you better be up to the challenge. These guys will rip you a new anus in court so be 100% prepared if you want to win! You must win in criminal court always, everytime you lose your open for civil punishment. Forget these BS A/R's, some lawyer had a dozen piss bums he called on to crate a class action suit against some coppers. Lawyer wins $, piss bum gets few bucks and officers get time. STOP STOP STOP MOVERS AND PARKERS, IF 80% OF THE WATCH STANDS TOGETHER THERE IS NOTHING "THEY" CAN DO. AND TO ALL THE "SELL OUT, KISS ASS PO'S" YOUR WHY WE HAVE SO MUCH IN-FIGHTING.

Nobody is 'giving up'.

Responding to calls for service, taking action when criminal acts are observed and investigating complaints of crimes having been committed is what the job is all about.

What it is not about is raising revenue, nor interfering where not requested and certainly not sucking up to the many bona fide white collar criminals who see fit to insult the working officers with a mickey mouse 1.1% 'raise' that would result in a 'work action' in any other union labor situation.

It's about time that the citizens of this city realized that, contrary to the opinions held by some, the police are not your individual personal bodyguards, nor are they your instruments of revenge, nor are they your personal flunkies, to be treated like shit until you need them to do the dirty work for you.

Nor are they the politicians' shake-down artists, nor the politicians' collection muscle, nor the politicians' stick, to be used against the public when the carrot doesn't work.

The trend of police returning to primarily responding to requests for service, akin to what the firefighters do, is what is needed to remind the citizens that it is THEIR responsibility to conduct their lives in a civilized manner, just as it is THEIR responsibility to avoid setting their fucking homes on fire.

The longer people are enabled to remain ignorant and act irresponsibly, and still continue to live, the more ignorant and irresponsible people there will be.

Ignorance and Irresponsibility don't naturally result in longevity.

The fact that the ignorant and the irresponsible continue to thrive is a testament to the misguided and delusional 'thinking' of the so-called 'sociological experts' and the self-serving and manipulative scheming of the so-called 'public servants'.

Police and Firemen aren't your personal Guardian Angels and even the Angels can't protect you from your own stupidity.

Cannot back each other up if officers stop working. respond to a inprogress call, you arrive and no back up! Where is everyone? Despite the white shirts, blue shirts must back each other on calls. Forget the newspapers and J-FED. Respond to calls and provide backup. make the paper if necessary but do not lie on paper. Not worth prison. Unfortunately we must work and answer calls. I believe that proactive policing has kept me safe all of my life. Most citizens, successful, rich, owning property and businesses , having raised children successfully, don't realize that quality policing allowed them an opportunity to do what they achieved without a lot of interference. Take the lid off, we are surrounded by shit. When I came on the job, I thought I was a street-smart person and in the know. My first night tour, in my own neighborhood district, showed me that I really didn't know what time it was. And I really thought I knew the city.
When the proactive policing diminishes, and the people get the policing they deserve, it will be a rude awakening for many if not all. The rules have changed, police aren't going to lose everything for something that isn't worth it. The social contract was broken some time ago. It is out in the open now. No trust.

is the correct response to be pissed off at the world for picking on cops? maybe if they had done their jobs correctly this wouldn't be an issue. the fact that cops blame everybody but the guys who fucked up, helps fuel the perception that cops feel they are above the law. the amount of supervision you bitch about is very common in the private sector. if you hate the job, come on out in the private sector. find out how fast you can get your ass fired for doing things the wrong way. cost your company a few million? your history, not quite like spending taxpayer money to compensate torture victims. if the job is so awful quit. there is a long line of people to take your seat on the gravy train.

Sir, or Madam........
How about this?
Are you home most nites for dinner with your family?
1/3 to 1/2 of us are not
Are you off most weekends?
75-80 % of us are off one weekend, every six weeks.
When is the last time that one of your co-workers was shot at? Had to fight with someone who was intent on hurting you. And understand this when I say fight. I mean fight for your life. When I fight with someone he/she knows I am a Chicago Police Officer. That person knows that I am armed..
when is the last time you walked into a house looking for an offender who had just shot and killed someone? Maybe you can tell me when the last time was that you went to the sound of gunfire?
When is the last time someone wanted to video/audio tape you for just doing your job?
Gravy train???? I got news for you
Its pretty easy to judge a whole group of men and women from the safety and comfort of your home is nt it?? I m sure that no one in your profession every screwed up? Right? And if they did I am sure that every single person of the same profession was painted with the same brush, right ? I am not even going to dignify your remarks on the torture issue.
The same men and women on that gravy train that you talk about are the ones who on a daily basis do things that would more than likely make your deffecate in your pants. But like most of the public you are swayed by the pess........ and we all know how fair and impartial the Chicago media is towards the police.
I have been the police for 20 yrs.... and I am still amazed at what we do for people that have no clue what it would be like without us. Instaed of slamming the police how about supporting us?

I also know that when they make mistakes, they dont want to admit it,because they are afraid of disciplinary action. In most cases, I would advise, straighten it out now, if u take a day, so what. If you turn in the wrong arrest report, tell somebody, your Sergeant or Lt. IT IS A MISTAKE AT THAT POINT. Don't wait until it is a cover up and you screw your whole life up. There was a time that the old-timers said, if you weren't on the job during the Class of '68, then you had no idea how bad it used to be.

Now, it seems as though our fine city, with its defective leadership is on a slippery slope to see just how bad it can get.

Morale is truly at an all-time low, and the so-called Reverends are the most irreverent, disrespectful cadre of socially destructive hatemongers out there. If these men of God were true leaders, the people that pay for their existence should actually heed the (mixed) messages that they espouse.

As a Catholic, Fr. Pfleger is the truly one of the most embarrassing members of the cloth that I can think of today. The Cardinal, who I do respect, should pull his pathetic, effeminate self out of St. Sabina's and transfer him to the Chaplaincy at 26th and Cal.

In closing, I can only hope that the electorate will come to its senses, or we're all going to be putting in transfer requests to Detroit in the next few years.

Someone else made a very good point: Build up our Deferred Comp. (and always have something else on the side) Remember, IF we strictly allow our employment to define who we are and what we are capable of, the price of unjustly losing that which defined us comes at much too great of a cost.

Let's hope that some of those that would allow us to experience this drop in morale will one day learn that what comes around really does go around.

The unfortunate truth:

Everyone knows the few guys in each and every unit who bend the rules. I for one, can't stand these individuals. Can't stand working with them, can't stand that they are CPD. It is pretty funny that they think they are slick and everyone else knows what is going on.

The few that lie through their teeth to milk the overtime, stay down on an assignment, etc. They laugh and joke with everyone, but everyone knows what they are up to. I will never throw accusations their way, but will never feel bad when they are outed and ousted!

To the few guys in each disrict and/or unit: The rest of the guys can't stand that you are within our ranks. Can't stand what you represent, can't stand that you leave the rest of us holding the bag while you have your own personal agenda.

Ironically, it is always these few guys that do all the gossiping and bad mouthing of everyone else. I sit back and watch and laugh that in every district and unit that I have been exposed to it is the lazy, do-nothing, scammers, that cause the most controversy. The working to themself guys, just chuckle to themself. We just hope that we can be left alone to actually DO our job. The few tend to bring attention and heat to everyone around them. IE; no more OT is an order that occurs periodically through the department. Unfortunately, the legit workers only earned OT when absolutely necessary. The abusers, once again, ruin it for everyone. These FEW can destroy a good thing wherever they go. You are only protected by the fact that the rest of us want to mind our own business. We all secretly hope that the Sgt's or above, put a stop to your bullshit.

Look in the mirror and ask yourself if you are one of these guys, cause the rest of us pray that it catches up to you!

Since we seem to so often only hear negative comments from the public, I thought I would share a story of what recently happened to my partner and I. We were eating dinner in a local diner, late in the evening. Contrary to what a lot of people who aren't police think, my partner and I always frequent restaraunts where we do pay for our meals. As we went to the cash register to pay for our meal, we were told by the waitress that it had already been paid for. She pointed to an older gentleman who I would guess to be in his 70's, sitting across the room, who she stated was a retired postal worker. She said he comes in several times a week to have coffee late at night, and everytime he sees police officers eating he pays for their meals. When I started to walk towards him to thank him for his generosity, she stopped me and told me not to thank him. She said he refuses to be thanked. He simply wants to show his appreciation for police officers that no one seems thank anymore. She honestly gave this speech as if she's said it many times before to other police officers. Each time I get discouraged by the public outcry when we simply do our jobs, I remember the time that "true gentleman" thanked me in the best way he saw fit, and I think that there are probably many more like him around this city and country, that we quickly foget about when the public is critizing us for doing our jobs. Much the way the public often forgets about the good police in the department. I'd encourage anyone who has had an experience like mine to share it. I think it's time to hear a few positive posts, rather than all the negative ones.

In the short time I worked in the 001st District, I would have the same thing done for me from time to time. Most also wished to remain anonymous. I was appreciative of this and it always made me feel better about my job and the public. That said, these "thank you's" make it that much harder for me when I admit that after 18+ years of working the streets (17 in high crime districts) I am done. I am embarassed to say this, but the Department and City have broken me. I do my job and go home. Coppers like Mike and Dan getting screwed over, along with other incidents, which I have intimite knowledge of but cannot discuss, has for the 1st time, caused me to hang it up. You have no idea how much J-FED and powers that be don't care for us, and will leave us hang out to dry. I have seen it first hand. In one case, the Officers are absolutely RIGHT in their situation, and has been proven repeatedly, but the Department WILL NOT go to bat for them. I am one of many very experienced, very knowledgeable policeman on this job, and I am also another that could be catorgorized as "Active Duty-Retired".

Not that the media always gets it right, but the Trib story says that the two officers prepared two identical reports (but with different offender info) while deciding which one to charge. You guys who find dope on the ground and flip a coin to decide on who to charge might want to re-think your tactics.

What's your drug of choice? Pot, coke meth? Fuck you and your drug addled brain.

"The unfortunate truth:

You are a fucking joke! Maybe it would be best for you to leave the job and go back to your true calling in the pressure cooker fast food industry. People like you on this blog make me sick, and I’m sure others as well. Those like you who never could do the job bitch the most about those of us who can. You mask your own cowardice by backstabbing coppers who go out and legitimately work the streets curb to curb every day. You would have actually had to (I hate to use this word on the blog) “proactively“ worked the street and locked someone up to understand that 150,000 + Gang Members in the city and thousands of drug dealers have no rules other then kill or be killed. Not only are we loosing the battle of the bosses (J-Fed and Da Mayor) but what’s much worse is we are loosing our city. We live here! I have children that have to live here! I have friends and family who live here. Remember one of our own, just last Fall, lost a child to Fucking Gang violence. I have never met the Officer who lost his child but he is my brother and I feel his loss. You whine and bitch about Coppers working hard and making more overtime then you? Here’s your reply: FUCK OFF AND DIE! The job DOES NOT need useless mother fuckers like you! So when it’s time to answer the call, “Shot’s Fired”, Man with an gun”, Person shot” or even a “10-1” The “Real Police” will be heading that way while your running away from it, you fucking coward!

And for those morons who have been writing about the St Jude parade and not going, remember it’s for those we have lost not for the bosses.

Oh one more thing: FUCK OFF AND DIE! Coward.

Former Englewood Ranger

P.S. Coward, if you have anything more to say I for one will be standing proudly at the St Jude Parade with the 008th District. Paying honor to those who have fallen in the line of duty. I’m sure you won’t show up and have better things to do. Those we honor were unlike you, were all running toward trouble when assholes like you are running away.

there is a long line of people to take your seat on the gravy train.

You sir, can get in a line with all the other jagoffs that know nothing about what a police officers job entails, bad mouths them, and still enjoys the protection we provide, and KISS MY ASS. I think you know where the line starts.

Unfortunately, this goof is a cop. 019 I believe, and possibly is or was an FTO at one point. And he does take his shoes off. At least I heard a story or two from someone that trained in 019 if my memory serves me correct and it sounds exactly like what I heard.

"The Unfortunate Truth"

That post was not intended for the actual working PO's, of which there are many. That post was for the FEW that pretend they are working, milk the system, and leave the working PO's to pick up their slack.

If you are a true working PO, then you should be pissed at the FEW that do nothing, but tell their war stories like they are supercops. YOu should be aggravated by the few that attempt and manage (in many cases) to scam the system for actually doing NOTHING.

I am a working PO who has never shied from work, has always responded when needed, have been their to back my brothers in need. I despise the same PO's that you despise, not the actuall working overtime PO's.

Don't get the two confused.

It's much, much more than a few not doing any more work than absolutely required son. Obviously you're fairly new or you'd know the difference between a police force laying down and one hustling to please. There are serious, important reasons for it (no work) and you'd be wise to pay heed.

To: The unfortunate truth:

Everyone knows the few guys in each and every unit who bend the rules. I for one, can't stand these individuals. Can't stand working with them, can't stand that they are CPD. It is pretty funny that they think they are slick and everyone else knows what is going on.

I must commend you your words. You are right in everything you wrote. Thank God we still have police officers that think like you.

Be safe in 008!!!
