More Blame on the Way

  • Lawyers in the R. Kelly case added five more jurors Tuesday to the panel that will decide whether the singer is guilty or innocent of child pornography charges.
  • The jurors selected Tuesday include a 20-something white woman studying criminal justice who aspires to be a police officer.

Asked her views of the justice system, she said, "I like it and think it is a fair system when done properly.
And the headline in the Sun Times read, "Aspiring Cop on Kelly's Jury." Is this some twisted media attempt to blame the "aspiring" police in case R. Kelly ends up getting the chair for child porn? What if she never ever makes it to a police academy and ends up a defense lawyer or something?

Man, we can't wait for the Sun Times to go under.

OFF TOPIC, BUT SPEAKING OF BLAME:

Just watched the re-broadcast of the CH. 5 news. Saw the "distraught" family and friends of boo-boo who was "shot in the back" by the police for "no reason" as he pushed the two-year-old IR number in a stroller. My question is: Why in the hell does anyone on this fuckin' job want to do anything anymore? (Anyone in patrol, anyway. Ass-sucking house-mice and out-of-touch bosses disregard this rant). Unless it directly involves you, your partner, your family, your loved ones or your property, don't aggressively approach any type of police work/call. Once again the ghetto natives "saw everything"; the police planted the gun, kicked the offender after he was shot, blah, blah, blah. This shit will never stop. Let these bastards have at it this summer. Let the thinning of the herds commence. Maybe "tough love" is what the liberals and our jagoff mayor, politicians, et al, need to finally appreciate what is actually going on and why they need the police of yore. Tough Love being chaos.

More on blame....

Did anyone catch the channel 5 story (Renne Furgesun sp?) did on the recent parolee who got out, and how he like to have freedom, to eat his Capn' Crunch??

Well turns out this is the same mutt who then robbed the gas station in 22, at 103rd and Kedzie, ran to a school at 108th and tried to get in, then was caught at 109th with the gun and money....

Nice reporting Channel 5 - where is the follow up on this??

And why is it that a Judge, who was DUI'd over the weekend, and who HANDLES DUI's in her courtroom was just a blurb in the paper and not on the news??? Hell, if it was a cop - front page - but not for S.McGinnis.

She's a "wannabee." Her mama probably hung out at Mike's, and she caught the bug that way. Chances are, there's a career as a security guard in her future, but that will not be followed up by the muckrakers.

I love when these so called families release a photo to the media from 6-7 years ago. This dogs picture was a picture from 2003, you could see the tassle tag.
THE MEDIA should not be accepting pictures of these animals that are not current.

Why not put a 20 plus year full-time cop on jury duty "aspiring" to retire.

My heart is broken. I thought it was Cook County State's Attorneys whom you despise. (Crook County SAO) I thought you loved us defense attorneys. Anyway, the story is about an idealistic young woman who wants to go into the criminal justice sysytem. It is refreshing to see this given that many of us are now jaded and cynical. The real issue is that a child ponographer garners so much community support. OJ to many is still factually innocent.
