I worked for leo in Area 5. great guy to work for, loved working police, loved police work, Old school kinda guy. Make a great big boss some day. Listened to his Detectives, discussed everythng not a do it my way kinda guy. Took care of the guys who did their job. So if you are ripping the guy you never worked for him and don't know him or you weren't the working police.
Any questions I'm still at Area 5 as a Det.
I worked for him in 008, see him riding with us on 1A jobs even after he left always a nice guy to me, its a political job and somebody has to get it...at least he is a worker bee. damn though he really does look like ric flair.

Its easy to talk shit but if you can't give an example, preferably a personal experience, of how this boss is bad then don't say anything. The jokes about Ric Flair are great police humor and I am sure Leo gets a kick out of it...but to say he would leave a policeman or detective WHO WAS DOING HIS/HER JOB and not something that all would agree was stupid, is not true. Put your BS excuses and jealousy aside and recognize that Leo AKA Ric Flair is a good boss who cares about the men and women in this department, despites the comments of some dip shits on this site. He only wants the police officers, detectives, and bosses under him to take pride in the job that they do, and take the bad guys off the street. After all we all have to live in this city.
