Philly Cop Killed

Philadelphia PD is having an incredibly bad year. Word from one of our regulars (Katey) that a sergeant was killed in a motor vehicle accident responding to a job.

Unbelievably, this sergeant had taken over a squad for another sergeant who was murdered this past May during a series of Line of Duty deaths suffered by the PPD. Even more stunning, he had moved into exact same locker after taking over for the deceased.

Coverage over at Domelights.com. Drop them a line. They visit here regularly.

Bad Karma.
I'm sorry to see this fall upon a fellow officer, God bless them and their families.

At least they have Supt. with heart. Ramsey is a class act.

Had to spend a weekend in philly for a friends wedding. The hotel my friend booked for us turned out the be about as bad as the Grand motel on madison and cicero. With no idea of where to go and being late at night, we were able to find some philly coppers from the drug enforcement unit. I told them where i was from and one guy gave me directions (i turned down the offer to escort us) to the good part of town, and a hotel. One of the guys even called my cell to make sure I arrived safely. Real stand up guys.

Clicked on the link and I'm too drunk to figure out how to log in. The bullshit we put up with here in Chicago is fucking minute to what the officers are dealing with in Philadelphia. I don't want to imagine the nightmare that has become the reality for too many families of that city. I fucking hate those who exhibit a lack of respect for decency and yearn for the day when I can visit harm and pain upon them and those they hold dear with only myself to answer to. RIP Sarge. The hard part's over.

Thank you for posting this, SCC.

I know the PPD could definitely use your support. It just never seems to end for them.

Please be safe out there.

I'm not a P/O. My boyfriend is an officer (not for Philly) and my best friend is a P/O for Philly. I'm just a supporter of those in LE, FF, EMS and Military. My apologies if I gave the impression that I was an officer.

For those of you that stopped by the Dome - I know the good men and women there appreciate your support. You all are a class act.

Please be safe out there.
