The Whitewash Begins

One of our favorite bloggers is being made aware of a disturbing, though unsurprising, occurrence on the Obama website:
  • I’m told by several of my spies that the gun control page from Comrade Urkel’s “change” website (referenced here) has mysteriously disappeared.

    Quelle surprise.

Like cockroaches, the socialist agenda always works best when it operates in the darkness.

Gee, a democrat who's entire voting career on guns is decidedly a little bit on the "anti" side, is removing all hints, comments, policies and statements that he supports the Second Amendment. Little wonder that gun sales are going through the roof. And ammunition sales. And speaking of ammunition sales, guess what time of year it is?

This year, more than ever, everyone who owns a gun ought to go out and buy the minimum suggested 100 rounds. If we might tweak the number a bit, we'd say at least 100 rounds per caliber owned, including the shotguns. If you can afford it, 200 might be a good idea. Certain people are on record as supporting a 500% tax on ammunition sales.

Add at least one zero to that recommendation and you'd just be beginning to be giving good advice.

100 rounds? 1000 rounds would be a good start. If you think it's expensive to do now, then wait until next year. 3 years ago you could buy 1000 rounds of factory Winchester 9mm for $100 a case from Dick's. That was the best $1000 I've spent in a long time.

1)B-rock said that "YOU", the law enforcement community, when you retire, should have to give up your guns.
2) B-rock WILL also reinstate the clinton weapons ban and it will apply to the entire law enforcement community.
He plans to execute these moves through the power of executive orders.

Apperently those "spies" don't know how to navigate a website. I found this under ageneda/urban policy crime and law enforcement.

"Obama and Biden would repeal the Tiahrt Amendment, which restricts the ability of local law enforcement to access important gun trace information, and give police officers across the nation the tools they need to solve gun crimes and fight the illegal arms trade. Obama and Biden also favor commonsense measures that respect the Second Amendment rights of gun owners, while keeping guns away from children and from criminals. They support closing the gun show loophole and making guns in this country childproof. They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent. "

Why are they training cops to shoot M4? Ever see their targets? Such fine marksmanship, looks like a shotgun was used. There's holes all over the paper. Why bother training with a weapon the city will never let you shoot on the street? Carry and be responsible for this weapon? No thanks, it's just baggage...

Pseudo OT (as usual):

Excerpt from NY Times on the accomplishments of a certain former Republican Senator (Ph.D. in Economics) from Texas:

link: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/17/
business/economy/17gramm.html?hp

In late 1999, Mr. Gramm played a central role in what would be the most significant financial services legislation since the Depression. The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, as the measure was called, removed barriers between commercial and investment banks that had been instituted to reduce the risk of economic catastrophes. Long sought by the industry, the law would let commercial banks, securities firms and insurers become financial supermarkets offering an array of services.

The measure, which Mr. Gramm helped write and move through the Senate, also split up oversight of conglomerates among government agencies. The Securities and Exchange Commission, for example, would oversee the brokerage arm of a company. Bank regulators would supervise its banking operation. State insurance commissioners would examine the insurance business. But no single agency would have authority over the entire company.

“There was no attention given to how these regulators would interact with one another,” said Professor Cox of Duke. “Nobody was looking at the holes of the regulatory structure.”

The arrangement was a compromise required to get the law adopted. When the law was signed in November 1999, he proudly declared it “a deregulatory bill,” and added, “We have learned government is not the answer.”

Dr. Phil is still right nine years later. Government is not the answer. So buy all the ammo you can get. When the economy implodes and you're living in an armed compound in Montana, at least you'll be able to trade bullets for food.

Yeah, now 9mm 115g is about $19 for Winchester White Box per 100 at Farm and Fleet.
Hate to tell you, but besides the threat of Liberal taxes on ammunition, the cost has been steadily increasing anyway as we've been expending a lot of it over in the sandbox. Perhaps if Osama pulls us out, we can shoot for less?

The city needs gun stores, indoor firing ranges, and concealed carry. Nothing else will keep our crime in check. Certainly not you guys - your own department shits on your face daily. The citizens are mad, but we don't all blame you. The bullshit problems start at the top of the pyramid; if I was in your position, I'd be doing the exact same thing.

Stay safe.

I've got 2000 rounds at home and 8000 at my final redoubt position out of state. Looking fwd. to stocking up an additional 5000 at the final redoubt by 20 January. I figure 2000 is good enough to get me and the family outa here if the shit hits the fan (economic collapse, food riots,etc...). Buy ammo now guys, SCC is correct. They are going to take a run at our guns and ammo. Obama probably doesn't want to do it in his 1st term, but Pelosi,Frank,Reid,Boxer may push it on him. You don't want to be out of ammo in the middle of a Depression defending your family from Mogadishu style gangs.

I don't think Mogadishu style gangs are coming to America, but I wouldn't be surprised if the government moved to confiscate weapons outright, because they can.

Have no fear though, there are too many americans that aren't liberal sheep that will kill to protect the 2nd. They know this. They generally tread carefully. You can only push people so far before something has to give. Even IF they could pull off confiscation, which they won't...eventually things will come to a head, and we'll be free again.

Think Battle of Athens, 1946.

Maybe they could learn a lesson from Bernie Stone, Aldercreature extraordinaire. You see Bernie, the arrogant prick that is the Aldercreature for the 50th Ward, is blatantly trying to shut down the Inspector Generals Office because, and this is a quote from Bernie himself,"He came after me, so I'm going after him. That's how this game is played."
For those of you who don't know, the Aldercreatures managed to get a neat little law passed some time ago that prohibits the City of Chicago Inspector General from investigating Aldermen, a.k.a. Aldercreatures.
However, the Inspector Generals office did not investigate Bernie directly. They went after one of his precinct captains for influencing people to vote absentee, even when they don't qualify, and give their ballots to him. He is even accused of flashing his Streets and Sanitation badge around and promising "enhanced" city services to those who played ball.

And we elect this asswipe to do this?

It's a little known truth that all of the major murderous dictators in the past (read Hitler and Stalin) were aware of the necessity to disarm the citizenry prior to the takeover of the country.

The left-wing of the democrat party is well aware of this and chooses to ignore the fact that a well-armed population reduces crime. They know that their revolution will be impossible with 300 million guns in this country.

The first step will be mandatory registration, so Obama's future "Brown Shirts" will know where to go.

Read history and John Lott's book: "More Guns Less Crime".

You have the nucleus of Mogadishu style gangs in these cities right now. They'll expand rapidly, chaos ensues. And no, Edison Park isn't immune. See how fast your neiighbors turn savage if they have no job, no money, no food, etc.... 90% of the fucks in white areas never thought their 401(k) or pension would be worthless. Sure, here it goes:

Trade = the willing exchange of goods, services, or both. Trade is also called commerce.

Bullets = hard projectile propelled by a firearm or air gun and is normally made from metal.

For = used as a function word to indicate purpose (i.e., trade bullets for food).

Food = any substance, usually composed primarily of carbohydrates, fats, water and/or proteins, that can be eaten or drunk by an animal or human for nutrition or pleasure.

Read "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand and you'll get some idea of the direction our country has been heading for a while now. We have just moved into the next stage. For a while now the producers of this country, and by that I mean the inventors and innovators, have realized that it just doesn't pay to invest your time and money on a project. The government will tax you on it, the lawyers will sue you over it, and the insurance companies will raise your rates to cover the lawsuits. Read up on why the US small aircraft industry is pretty much overseas now. Every plane built cost something like $2500 in insurance costs to the manufacture because the lawyers kept hammering the companies when some a pilot ran out of fuel or plowed into a pole at the end of a runway.
This will also explain the "bullets for food" question going on. Maybe you haven't seen MAD MAX. It's all about the oil and bullets.
