No More Law?

And what's this we're reading about residential protests?
  • Nearly two dozen people held a silent protest Monday night outside the Bridgeport home of police detective ...

[....] Protesters said they plan to return to the Frugoli home.
We were unaware that the 009 District had unilaterally suspended the rule of law regarding protests at homes. Once again, as stated before, police officers are not above the law. But we aren't below the law either and the 009 District and 35th Street better step the fuck up before this Department is irretrievably lost.

this ignoring of the accused police officers rights should immediately be looked at by the U.S. Department of Justice. If the worst scumbags in the City are arrested, everybody is concerned so much for the rights of the poor dope-selling, gang-banging hoodlums. If we went in front of their home, we'd certainly be arrested, or sparred. We Still have rights, just like the murdering thugs that are now ruining our City, along with the Cukoo Dem. Politicians, and some scamming reverends.

Maybe the state laws are different but people did this in upstate New York. Most of the guys from AIG that did not return there windfall cash, people went to their homes to protest and hopefully shame them in front of their neighbors. I am not saying that it's right, but this is exactly what we should do in front of Daley's house. Imagine, 40-50 PO's a day in front of his home. How long would he feel the pressure from his neighbors? Just a thought.

This is absolutely ludicrous. Joseph made a bad mistake. What I have read and seen in the media the past few days is nothing short of a mob mentality. I wonder what the blood alcohol levels will be on the victims. I wonder if there will be an investigation to find out if the victims were doing, 2 well known taggers, who were parked in a moving lane with lights out on the vehicle at 4 am on one of the busiest highways in the state? He fucked up, yes, but how many of you have driven drunk and just haven't been caught? I'm shocked at the gangs and the victims relatives protesting outside a private home with no help from anyone. Will something be done only when violence does occur? Its waiting to happen. Ask yourselves if someone will be there to help you if you get in trouble. No one is proud about what happened. But to let a bunch of bangers with a lynch mob mentality come after him is wrong.
He's a good man. He would help anyone. AT THE VERY LEAST, pray for him.

There is an old parable about a man who said nothing when the Nazis came for his neighbors, because it had nothing to do with him. He said nothing when he realized all the men, then the women in his town were taken away. Then at last he wondered where was everyone to stick up for him when there was no one left.

Yeah, and keep in mind that two criminal taggers, oh my bad - "graphic artists" chose to stop their vehicle in a lane of traffic on an expressway so that they could tag the concrete barrier or the overhead signage.
Seems to me that a few weeks ago someone tagged the overhead signage overnight in the northbound lanes of the Dan Ryan right about 18th St!

4/15/2009 01:00:00 AM"

Let's break it down:

1. "So, if somebody draws on a wall, they deserve to die?"

If somebody stops their vehicle in an active lane of an expressway, said lane where that someone should reasonably expect that other vehicles, even at 3am in the morning, might very well be using, traveling at or above the posted speed limit, would you say that that someone has, by their act of stopping their vehicle in that active lane, created a hazard?

And, having effectively parked in an active lane of traffic, on an expressway where the posted speed limit is, at the least, 45 miles per hour, can that someone be considered to be acting reasonably in assuming that every subsequent vehicle traveling on that lane will, without fail, observe their parked vehicle and avoid striking same?

2. "The people in the stopped vehicle on or off the road were innocent victims. Who cares why they were there?"

Well, depending upon your chosen definition of innocent, before you can state, as fact, that 'The people in the stopped vehicle.....were innocent victims.', wouldn't you have to first determine '...why they were there'?

As in, why was their vehicle stopped in an active traffic lane, on an expressway where the expected speed of any following vehicles was at least 45 mph, and likely, for practical purposes, 55-65 mph?

And whether or not their vehicle was sufficiently visible to those vehicles using that active lane of traffic and, presumably, traveling at or above the speed limit?

3. "....it didn't need to happen.

4/15/2009 01:00:00 AM"

But was it an avoidable accident?

As in, even if the striking driver had not been legally drunk, would the accident still have been unavoidable, given the factual circumstances?

With the emphasis being on factual.

And not focusing solely on the legal presumption of fault that the BAC provides the legal system with just cause to prosecute and the public with the assumed moral cause to condemn.

4/14/2009 11:20:00 PM"

So, can we reasonably believe that those individuals holding public office do not '...discuss subjects of general public interest.' within their own residences?

First, I'm NOT condoning what the copper did. He fucked up driving in that condition and will have to pay for it. But I'm SICK AND TIRED of the media, this shit department and this moronic, liberal, thankless public we protect always bashing us for the very same shit that happens in society every day!

While a loss of life is (USUALLY) always tragic, If these "victims" were actually out drinking and tagging (like the evidence now seems to be leaning towards) they ARE NOT VICTIMS!
They're no different than the burglar that gets stuck and suffocates in a chimney, the home invader that gets blown away by the homeowner, the arsonist that fries in his own fire or even the junkie that dies shooting bad junk! One thing in common, THEY'RE ALL CRIMINALS THAT DIED DUE TO BAD DECISIONS THEY MADE!

Too bad the "victims" were burned beyond recognition because I'm sure the defense would love to get the B.A.C. on them too! Who knows, hopefully there was enough blood left for toxicology on them too.

Even if the copper didn't hit these idiots that were stopped in a lane of traffic, not a shoulder wide enough to safely pull over on, they most likely would have been plowed into by someone else. I don't give a fuck if I have to drive a MILE with a flat on that deathtrap Dan Ryan, I would to get to a safe area! How many times have we heard of Troopers around the country getting creamed? And that's with emergency equipment activated! Just imagine if it was some family traveling? The tables would be totally turned and these "victims" would be the OFFENDERS! But because a "COP" was involved, we're ALL going to pay for it due to the media!

So just remember my brothers, we're hated by most and have the most shit thankless job out there!
We have to constantly remember that from now on. Cameras are everywhere now! Don't think that after the hating public got wind of all this from them pukes in the media, they'll be shooting video of us every chance they get! Time to build that home bar I always wanted!

BE SAFE AND CYA!!!

While we have suffered yet another black eye at the hands of Frugoli and his disease, the man DOES have protections under the law until he is proven guilty. While he has been tried and convicted in the media already,if he were SMART he would ask for a trial well out of Cook County, hire a competent lawyer and defend his reckless actions. It seems we are all to quick to pass judgement on those that transgress us we as well need to bear in mind that while the two "victims" were criminals as well they remain 2 thing....Criminals and dead at the hands of a Drunk Off Duty Police Officer. I wont for a minute say stop drinking as we all know this job SUCKS and a "pop" sometimes makes the bullshit go away for a while. But as with everything,THERE COMES RESPONSIBILITY. Frugoli was irresponsible on SEVERAL occasions. Instead of cloaking this man with the "blanket of protection" from 'old school' we need as a collective,to address the disease that caused Frugoli to do this. He is a sick man,an alcoholic, and now an alleged murderer. Since we are all in the public eye more so now than ever it is imperative that we protect and seek help for those of us that suffer this disease. It will not be easy wresting the keys from a Drunk Sgt or PO but if you TRULY care about your fellow,YOU WILL DO WHAT IT TAKES. Remember that could have been ANY ONE of us in that crash. I would as Im sure most of you would, like to be free to enjoy the pension and retirement we earned OUTSIDE of a prison cell.

If they were killed by an illegal immigrant what would they say? If they were killed ny a media min-cam truck what would they say?

Has any of them tried to get the Dan Ryan Traffic Cam of the actual accident and see what they were doing? Maybe do a 360 panarama and check out the tagging that they did in the area. It is only because it was a copper that this is a heater case.

If it was anyone else they would make it sound like a case of Swoop and Squat.
