Shots Phired!
Two people were wounded during an apparent drive-by shooting this evening near St. Sabina Church in the South Side's Auburn Gresham community, authorities said.
The shooting happened near West 78th Street and South Racine Avenue, outside the church's elementary school gym. The church's address is 1210 W. 78th Pl., with a school and other facilities in the immediate area.
Two boys, one 17 and another about 16, were taken in serious condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, but were expected to survive, officials said.
Brace for more anti-gun speeches, because a speech is way better than actually pushing for personal responsibility, and blaming an inanimate object for the depredations of an entire swath of society's failures is easier than looking in a mirror.

Thats why he dumped Sgt. K without a word. One of the best Sgt's 006 Tact and Gangs ever had. Real decent. Well there is a happy ending to the story he landed on his feet in 021.
These two are no loss to society.

I would not be surprised if all CPD Bodyguards are now under orders now to take no actions, just get the protectee out of danger, you were never there, be invisible so as not to reveal the waste of tax money on all these services.

About 42 years ago,Frank Kellly, and a group of white kids playing softball in a vacant lot on the west side of 78th, across from the Sabina gym was shot and killed. That was the beginning of the end of Sabina. Not a word about racism then even though the shooters were from a different ethnic background.
What does the cardinal have to say about this? The cardinal let's this "father" run wild just like he covers up for the pedophiles and fraudsters. That's why I stopped giving to the church years ago.
