Football Begins

And the Bears are the last game of the day. The last line we saw had Green Bay favored by 4 points.

ESPN says if Cutler doesn't throw any interceptions, the Bears can pull it off.

We think the Bears have just about zero room for error on both sides of the ball - and that's all season long. This seems to be a thin team with the potential to be very good. But four or five major injuries and who knows how bad it could get?

Today we learn if our quarterback will make our receivers better or if a veteran receiver should have been pursued in the off-season.

Kyle Orton threw a tipped pass for an 87 yard touchdown WITH ELEVEN SECONDS left in the game for his first victory as a Denver Bronco, though, truth be told HE had little to do with the win.

I HOPE FAVRE BEATS THE PACKERS TWICE THIS SEASON! HE LOOKED LIKE THE WISE OLD VETERAN THAT HE IS IN BEATING THE BROWNS. AND OH-OH, LOOK OUT FOR ADRIAN PETERSON. HE'S IN MID-SEASON FORM ALREADY!

NO, NOT OUR ADRIAN PETERSON!

Everybody want to talk about Jay Cutler and the offense but the real talk should be about the defense. The Bears defense is old and slow, if they don't get their act together quick this is going to be a lost season. The great white hype Brian Urlacher won't even be able to save them.

Chicago's defense gives up a big play late, and Cutler throws an interception to lose the game.

Sorry, guys.
