Order Rescinded

As you see, we craftily folded back the corners of the document in case J-Fed's nefarious henchmen numbered the copies of the Fax Message and can track our mole.

The ingenuity of a Chicago Police Officer cannot be underestimated.

And neither can the stupidity coming out of downtown.

OFF Topic:

The Huffington Post has the most in depth news story on the 4 CPD officers who plead guilty (in the SOS scandal) that I've seen to date.

They revealed some of what was read from the 17 page synopsis of what they admitted to in court last week. (shocking)

It details how they found $450,000 wrapped in cellophane during a traffic stop and split it, each getting $130,000. (WOW)

An unnamed Sgt. yet to be indicted (but more to be announced soon) found out about it, called the officer in the office, reamed him out & after chastizing him demanded $3,000 for his "vegas trip" Nice going sergeant.

How come the local media never gets "the scoop?" I'm sick of the B.S. that gets publish by the Slum-times and gets passed off as reporting!

Go to HuffingtonPost.Com click the "chicago" tab and scroll down to see the article from 09/18/09 "Former elite cops heading to jail after admitting to theft and break-ins"

IT'S GOING TO GET UGLIER BOYS AND GIRLS SO HOLD ON TO YOUR HATS!

Hilarity! How much do you want to bet that the exposure this blog gave to this little "project" was the cause of its very downfall?

GOD BLESS THE 1ST AMENDMENT!

Now if only the Olympics, Daley, and the rest of the hacks in office could share the same fate.

FYI: Stroger having a town-hall meeting in Park Ridge next week. I wonder if they'll let citizens come up and ask questions?

You are truly fucked Weis and your career in ANY type of law enforcement capacity is burned beyond recognition.

Good luck even getting your wife to piss away the money on whatever pathetic book you plan on writing about your sinkhole career at the CPD. You musta needed the cool million to pay off your downtown condo eh?

LOLx3!!!

Saw on another post that j-fart and some gold stars were the recipients of "hen-grenades" at an outdoor roll-call in 006 over the weekend.

You idiots are rumored to be the POLICE but you tucked tail and ran like pussies.

*sigh*

The federal (ha-ha) model of policing is upon us eh?

Yet you jackasses bray about "be the Police, we got your back" and yet you run away because Pooky egged you? God forbid if it was 1987 to 1997 and the REAL POLICE had to shut down a CHA high rise...

You clowns would be the cause of many Policemen getting hurt or killed due to your cowardice and inaction or you'll fuck a Policeman in a heartbeat for taking care of business.

Thanks for showing what you really are j-fart. Now take that uniform off... You openly mock the 500+ stars in the display case. You are beneath contempt. A specially hot fire is being stoked for you... Hope the money was worth it as you have no soul to speak of.

We cannot imagine you as anyone's son or husband as it is apparent that you and the people who raised you to adulthood were/are devoid of any human trait like compassion, honesty or true bravery.

You're essentially the living dead. A joyless, loveless creature who exists just to suck the life out of others. You cast a shadow but no reflection.

Be a man for once in your life and make the mess you made right. Honor your word and resign already... Oh sorry, your word has the value of stink from dog-shit but you knew that didn't you.

Here's to you running & crying in your sleep for the rest of your miserable existence... "The wicked flee though no one pursueth..."

As reported in today’s Crain’s Chicago Business:

Mayor Richard M. Daley and Patrick Ryan assure Chicago taxpayers that a safety net of insurance would insulate them from the financial risks of hosting the 2016 Olympics.

But the insurance policies Mr. Ryan says he’ll secure would cover only about $1.1 billion of the $3.8-billion operating budget that the mayor’s Olympic point man has drawn up for the games. In many key areas, no insurer stands between taxpayers and the risk of revenue shortfalls or cost overruns.

For example, there’s no insurance against the risk that private lenders won’t shell out $1 billion to finance construction of the Olympic Village, as Messrs. Daley and Ryan predict they will. And there’s no coverage against shortfalls in corporate sponsorship sales, which they predict will rake in $1.8 billion, two-thirds more than London expects to collect for the 2012 games.

So, it’s official. Chicago’s premiere business publication has looked at the “insurance” and found huge holes. Guess who gets to fill those holes? JOIN US ON SEPTEMBER 29 AT CITY HALL, 5:30PM TO PROTEST THIS MESS!

I could not disagree more, though he might have been talking about you personally. New York, LA, Detroit, New Orleans, in other words the other large metro urban pd's, all have huge problems that in some cases dwarf ours. If you put your nose in a nationwide paper or newscast once in a while you would know this. Now, many people have been watching the past IL governors saga with much amusement...which of course he brought upon himself after pasting his own face all over the news. The Chicago Police Dept, long known as some of the best police officers in the world are not in danger of losing their street creds yet. Also, don't quote what some yahoo state coppers says about this dept as if it comes from the mouth of God. Though there is a lot of bitching on this site I see nothing but excellent police work everyday that I leave my home and hit the street. Don't forget....the few are not the defining. We are still, and always will be the best God-damned police dept there is.

Anyway...I was walking out and noticed in the circular area where the names are on the walls by section numbers....there were (9) NINE burned out lights.....These are the lights that are permanently in the ground and illuminate the names on the walls....NINE lights burned out on the evening of the vigil??!! I also noticed that the plexiglass which contains the names of the fallen and directs one to the numbered section of the wall was terribly buckeled....can't we put something OVER the plexiglass ?? Like a piece of glass that would look much better and NOT buckel or bow...looks very cheap....and lastly...there is a huge crack in the north wall just to the right of this plexiglass piece that has the names written on it....the crack looks terrible....Can't we fix these things?? This memorial cost millions and it is in sad shape....Phil Cline...please take notice and have these things fixed for our brothers....I donate $$ EVERY paycheck to the memorial and would ask that it is better kept than it currently is......especially on the night of the vigil....shame....Thanks SCC for posting this very important information....

This whole police department is a joke, it deserves to be a laughing stock. When do yo suppose J-Fed got to that Oh Shit! moment where he realized what he had gotten himself into? This certainly won't enhance his future employment opportunities in law enforcement.

As for me, I do not admit to anyone I don't know what I do for a living for I know what will come next. The questions about all the bullshit in the papers on almost a daily basis. This is no longer an organization one can be proud of being a part of. What a damn shame! Just look at what Richard M. Daley has done to the Chicago Police Department since he took office in 1989. The CPD went right down the drain.

Remember Daley's 1st Superintendent? Matt Rodriguez. Remember his first day? The Loop flood. Matt got the 1st no confidence vote from the FOP membership. The downhill slide has continued to this day.

He continually turns his chair in his carbon dioxide enhanced office in the direction of the sun.

He has people that come into his office and tell him lovely things to reward the incremental forehead growth he has each day. He has surpassed a 5-head and is now closing in on having a six-head.

Some other poor soul has to come in to prune his unwanted growths while waxing his back.

Then as the afternoon sun begins it slow westward departure, the put him in his rolling chair and race him to the other side of the building.

The officers, according to Salinas, inventoried $10,000 and split the rest. It was one of a number of times in which the officers reported finding far less money than they actually did and split the money they did not report, according to the document.

I know, we'll let them shoot at fleeing cars, being driven by offenders with guns, no can't do that either.

i know, we'll take a survey designed for a totally different purpose and make it into a morale survey. What do you mean I promised to quit if I was the cause of poor morale? When did I say that? Ok, just bury the thing.

How bout this one? We'll put how am I driving bumper stickers on the squad car, their too dumb to notice, and it won't hurt morale. What do you mean the bangers and pissed off citizens might call in false complaints? Alright, never mind.

As a cop, a citizen of the city I have a question. Who the F is coming up with this sh#*, and why are they still employed by the CPD? This department is being run by Rosanne Rosana Danna. It's like a bad SNL skit. The only problem is the citizens and the coppers are the brunt of the joke.

Though there is a lot of bitching on this site I see nothing but excellent police work everyday that I leave my home and hit the street. Don't forget....the few are not the defining. We are still, and always will be the best God-damned police dept there is.

9/21/2009 05:04:00 PM

Im going to call BULLSHIT on this one! WE may have some of the BEST COPPERS there is! But our Dept, if this type of leadership continues, is truly FUCKED!

That excellent "Police Work" you speak of... That comes from COPS, not the dept. and certainly not the bosses around here! If you doubt this, just take a walk around 3510, see what we have in that place. See what comes up with “How’s my driving” stickers. See what comes up with “This” mission or “that” mission. That’s our DEPARTMENT.

Now that last good Search Warrant, good Agg Batt pinch, Robbery arrest, Burglary pattern cleared up, that comes from hard working COPS! I’ll put ours up against anywhere else, anytime! NYPD MIGHT come close.

They sure do. I do a few a week. The bosses love them and I get event numbers also and the boss really gets excited. They are better then AR's. It's great not being the police anymore and it still pays ok.

9/21/2009 05:00:00 PM

Is everyone here brain dead or blind? Daley intends on using OUR PENSION FUND and other City pension funds as sources of ready cash to finance the construction. He packs the pension fund boards, he can get it done with a wave of his pinky and a wrinkle of his brow.

Take it to the bank, that is what Daley will do, POLICE OFFICER'S PENSON FUNDS WILL BE USED TO FINANCE THESE 2016 OLYMPICS and there is little or nothing we can do about it.

It will be just another big Fuck You from Daley.

I love bus checks. I get an event number, I go on the air and sound all police like. And I have something to turn in at the end of the day, if my Sgt. sticks around for checkoff that is. The sgt's rarely stay for long, if all PO's are in or not. The Sgt' s have things to do and places to go, they can't be bothered with checkoff.

Please, whatever he is on, pass around to all PO's. As far as "not going to lose our street creds" - Dude, you must work on the Northside, because on the southside CPD has no street creds that the public fears. For the love of God between shooting at po's and egging the sup where are the street creds there??? Other than in your mind. The mayor certainly disdains us and too many of the citizen hate us; between the clout system, the corruption and daily back-stabbings we are merely a customer service agency who must smile in the face of being treated like shit, blamed for everything while bouncing like a pinball from job to job.

Sometimes I think the only thing that will save this city is going to be Marshall Law, but not to worry the Olympics is coming, the Olympics is coming.

Please understand, I am not at all denouncing the fact that there are a great number of people within the Chicago Police Dept, but street creds is gone by a long shot.

That trip to Steeltown could turn into a nightmare. Remember what happened in Montreal Canada a few years back. "Protesters" tore up and set fire to that beautiful city. There are people who go to events like that not to protest any policy but to raise hell like soccer hooligans.

So if you go to Pittsburg, be prepared for anything

Whether you go or not, stay safe.

OT....Sorry SCC...I have to make mention of this because it belongs to US...and the families of our fallen brothers/sisters...I attended the candelight vigil last week and as usual was impressed with the great turn out and moved by the words of the family members who spoke on behalf of their fallen family members....especially the smaller children...God Bless!

9/21/2009 05:54:00 PM

Phil will only use your post to ask us to donate more.... shame.
