McClendon Homicide Arrests

At least it will close a painful chapter in the family's lives:
  • At least two teenagers are being held in police custody in connection with the murders of CLTV talk show host Garrard McClendon’s parents, a source said.

The suspects, who have been in custody since Friday, were positively identified as being seen in Milton and Ruby McClendon’s car, the source said.

One of the teens is from Hammond, the source said, where Milton, 76, and Ruby, 74, lived.

Now hopefully, the state can make it stick.

What an unspeakable crime. Seventy-six years old. That's just wrong on so many levels.

While this may bring closure to the IMMEDIATE painful event, there lies the other problem that McClendon spoke on. I am sorry you lost your parents to some greed crazed thug criminal wannabe's. While that is VERY painful,we as an intelligent collective should gain from this. We should ADDRESS these THUGS. There is no reason that this or the carnage at Fenger should be allowed to continue WITHOUT RETRIBUTION.
Im not saying flame throw block by block, but I am saying we need our judicial back, we need STRONG ASA's, we need a COMMAND STRUCTURE that can actually do as opposed to TALK about it all day and night,we need Bosses that have our backs not ones that try to put a knife in it at every juncture. We need a Superintendent that actually IS THE POLICE.We need to give slack to hard working coppers that go into this shit everyday and LET THEM TAKE THE SITUATION,THE AREA,THE HOOD,back from these dope crazed savages.I can say with a GREAT degree of pride when I come into a crowd with MY guys, they run.THAT needs to come back to the rest of the Police out there. Thats not FEAR thats the preditors knowing THEY WILL LOOSE. we need to band neighborhoods together to STOP this mess. There needs to be STIFFER SENTENCES and there needs NOT TO BE time considered served and 'good time'. We need to see Jackson,Farakhan,Pflegger, and Sharpton for what the ACTUALLY ARE. These men are NOT leaders they are media whores that predicate on the losses of the community to suit their own agendas. They do NOTHING other than get paid and stir trouble. They are partially the cause for the banding of the Balls of this Fine Deparment.I KNOW there are platoons of STAND UP OFFICERS here that would jump at the chance to "clean a hood up" but we cant. And horrible crimes like the McClendon Homicides will continue.
Until we see thru the smoke clouds and piles of bullshit from Bosses,Politicians,"Reverends" and self proclaimed Community Activists(domestic terrorists in my opinion) and until We put a boot on the necks of the gangbangers and take OUR streets back, this will be just one more Homicide on the books in Chicago.

God Bless you Mr McClendon
God Help the Chicago Police Dep't

shooting two old folks in cold blood and dumping them in the woods-- if they are found guilty of this crime they should be immediately exterminated.... give the mcclendon brothers some choppers, put these two thugs up against a wall, and mow them down....

I hope Gerard McClendon puts Jesse Jackson out of business.

The black community needs a new perspective and a new voice. And I have a feeling Mr. McClendon may be just the man to do it.

It's time for a change.

Quite a speech. Unfortunately, it's too late for all this altruistic babble. Yadda, yadda, yadda!

I remember 20 some years ago, CBS news here in Chicago decided to fire one of their black on-air reporters. Jesse Jackson called for a boycott of WBBM by the black community because channel 2 was too white for his liking. I believe it was one of his first boycotts and the media and advertisers were like a deer caught in headlights. They didn't know what to do, so they caved in and gave Jesse what he wanted. When Jesse realized he could bully people with his boycotts, he became a monster.

An interesting take on Jesse Jackson's "extortion" racket can be found here:
http://www.skeptictank.org/gen4/gen02379.htm

Anyway, HE, MORE THAN ANY ONE PERSON, should be held personally responsible for the state of the black community today. The Reverand Dr. Martin Luther King is spinning in his grave at how Jesse perverted the civil rights movement into his own crime wave. Jackson sold out his own people for personal gain and wealth for himself and his friends and family. Besides throwing his weight around the media and the private sector, he terrorized and bullied spineless politicians into selling out their REAL constituents.

AND don't think for one second that he isn't part of the Daley Crime Family. Look closely. The patterns are the same. THEY and their criminal associates all prosper at the expense of the rest of the surrounding society. Politics makes for strange bedfellows. It will continue until the voters decide they have had enough. Until then, bend over, sucker!

Hopefully Indiana will put these assholes to death!

Liberal police hating Illinois, would never give them the death penalty that they deserve!

Hmm...kind of ironic. The protector of thugs everywhere (thugs of color) is Jesse Jackson, who probably gets 90% of his dwindling airtime on CLTV.

Agree with 1:25 am. It's time to take the streets back. But we've seen this before. Nothing will happen.

how sad

elderly couple married for decades, raises successful children, and is enjoying the fruits of their labor by purchasing nice things.

By all accounts, enjoying the twilight of their lives on earth

only to have it all stolen from them by those who have no souls, no conscience, no humanity

sad to imagine their last moments on this earth were-who had the horror of watching the other killed first

O.T. Sun-Times, Sunday Oct 25, 09, front page.
Ernie Terrell, former Boxing Heavyweight Champ, is afraid to live in Roseland and is preparing to move. He was not afraid to be the first black family on the block in 1969. Now the black violent crime is chasing him out of his black neighborhood.

OT - Who's writing the parkers?

Chicago Parking Tickets Are Up 26 Percent This Year
Jon Hilkevitch

Violation fines for leased parking-meter spots take in $7 million more than last year

Your chances of receiving a parking ticket in Chicago have shot up from last year, and the pace has accelerated even more in recent months.

A ticketing blitz in the city has led to a 26 percent spike in parking meter violations so far in 2009, according to city records provided to the Tribune in response to a Freedom of Information Act request.

The area in and near the Loop accounted for half the increase in tickets.

While it may sound "altruistic" to YOU,the post does make one hell of a lot of sense. How much are YOU willing to sit back and watch before you get fed up enough or pissed off enough to tell Weis to KISS YOUR ASS and go do what NEEDS to be done? Im with the poster. 100%.You know just like I know you cant sit there with your thumb in your ass and look at yourself in the mirror and call yourself Chicago Police with a clear conscience. While the poster makes a VERY GOOD AND STRONG SPEECH,the poster ALSO notes the futility of it and I feel their frustration.

In an Indiana court, those offender's will get nothing less than life in prison. In cook county they'd probably get RWOC. Indiana will give you 3 years for a couple rocks on a first offense. It's amazing.

Holy Softballs Batman!!! Ok smart guy, go tell J-fed to "kiss your ass" and then head into the ghetto and try to make a difference in the lives of people who don't care about you or how hard you work. Then when you are done all the bosses will tell you how proud they are of you and pat you on the back. Or if you are unlucky by being such a super star maybe you can have all three meals will Billy Cozzi everyday.
