This team has aged and some of these guys shouldn't even be on an NFL roster. I'm sure dealing with the salary cap isn't easy but, gee, the NE Patriots never seem to have a problem fielding strong teams year after year.
I know they've had injuries, especially at linebacker, but a loss today and I don't see them any better than 8-8.

***OFF TOPIC*** (sorry for length)
In response to the CPD vs CFD debate, I feel very strongly about this. While I understand the fact that we are all city workers and should stick together, CFD only wants to rally together when it benefits THEM. CFD were eyewitnesses in an incident we were involved in (which ultimately resulted in a lawsuit). On the scene, CFD refused to give names or badge/employee #'s, and left the scene asap. Its like pulling teeth while jumping through hoops to get ANY cooperation from them, which usually results in the typical "I don't recall." Even when all that is needed is an accurate account of what happened to help verify the officers story.
Then, to get to IPRA, and be told that "CPD guys who are called to the CFD version of IPRA are always as helpful as can be, but they pretty much stonewall us." I was literally repulsed to hear some of the stunts they pull to avoid cooperation. So a big thanks to all the "heroes" out there, and don't forget to call us for that 80 year old having difficulty breathing, or the dumpster on fire..... -- Mr. "me too" clause

I'm glad Lovie's running the defense, now we can see he truely is the problem with the Bears.

Having said that they would do nothing to help you beat a beef. The paramedics are cool however.
Most of the times I have stopped a ff they pull the were in the same boat bs. I tell them we aren't. They call us to back them up doing their job but we don't call them. If an ambulance or fire is going that's their job. When the Bulls were winning CPD was assinged to the fire houses/trucks. No ff was assinged to districts or squad cars.
Lastly, when a ff is getting his ass kicked they send police, when police get their asses kicked they send police.
A 10-1 is a police officer needs help, not ff, tow truck driver, garbage man etc. It's just another battery on progress to me.
I don't include the paramedics with the ff's,
the ff's have treated them like shit for years.

Lets see...53 points for the Bengals, and then they pull their first string and put in a junior high squad. Bears respond by scoring 3 field goals on the children to make it 53-12 final.

First and foremost, not a CPD hater, but a CPD supporter. I have quietly supported many benefits for you and your families over my 15 plus years. I don't arrive with any fanfare or wear some CFD shirt, I just arrive usually with a female PO, and blend into the crowd. I have stood in Class A at three of your fallen brother's funerals, once again no fanfare needed, just there to support in a time of need. As you know, their are haters on both sides. Alot of good firefighters out there, and many cross-trained firefighter paramedics riding on those Engines and Trucks. We DO NOT call you for the 80 year old difficulty breathing call, our call takers "check the box" as they send it to our dispatchers. Ask your dispatchers if you're needed by CFD, then code the job out. Our jobs are similar, but different. We don't have citizens chasing us with cameras like they do you. We are aware they're out there though, and when I used to give the old piss bum a kick to get up, is no longer the case...we're all being watched. We respond to runs, and walk in on full-blown domestics, and they just called us so someone would show up...their quote, not mine. Many of us respect you, and I know many of you respect us..especially when you're laying on the backboard after getting t-boned in the interesections. I go out of my way when I respond to an emergency to your homes, whether your active or retired. We try to accomodate your hospital choice, but sometimes we get overruled. Let's stick together when we sit at the shortshanks contract talks, it's all we have left.

SCC, you may want to or not want to post this. But today I was working as an extra in a movie as a police officer, as I was sitting on set and going through the prop paperwork, I was amazed to find that they had copies of case reports GOCR books, copies of general orders, and even A & A sheets from 2002 with officers names and SS # on them, they were authentic because I know a few of the officers, when I questioned the production crew about it they told me that they got them from a prop company in Chicago that went through the old 10th district after is was closed and collected all these items and more for prop use. I explained to them that I would be taking the A & A sheets with me and they understood why. Its great to see sensitive info of officers is just left laying around for anybody to collect. Yes I do have them. If you have any questions or would like to see them let me know.
Its over- Lovie has taken over the defense(head coach) and they are shit- forte is a joke and that gang banger benson made forte look like a bum- hey briggs butkus never helped the bad guys up- worry about your own team not the bum benson on the other team

After the Bears played in their last Super Bowl, Lovie Smith fired Ron Rivera as their defensive coordinator and the defense has been deteriorating ever since. NOW, he is calling the defensive signals and they can't stop anyone!
Like I have said before, The Bears need a new offensive sheme. If that means getting rid of some coaching so be it!

Can't expect much from the Eagles. After all, look at Andy Reid. Both his sons are in jail (or were) for drugs and gun possession.
So, I suppose it's only fitting for the misfits to have Vick on the team. At this point, I'd rather have Owens back. I'd take egotistical and selfish over a dog killer any day.
I'm a Philadelphia fan. I'll watch anyway. It doesn't mean I'm happy with the team or like them bringing Vick to Philly, but he's here and there's nothing I can do to boot him off the team.
Besides, I'm a Flyers fan first (even if they do suck right now). I love 'em. And I'd watch the Phils any day over the Eagles. I'm psyched for the WS. It's going to be a good one. ;)
