Gee, who'd have even thought such a thing existed? And that they had tentacles reaching into government?
Illinois state Sen. James DeLeo (D-Chicago) -- who has made public statements questioning the existence of the Chicago mob -- was credited by former Gov. Rod Blagojevich's office with trying to help the widow of one of Chicago's most infamous slain mobsters.
The Northwest Side lawmaker is listed in a secret hiring database the then-governor's aides kept as the political sponsor for Anne Spilotro, the widow of murdered mob associate Michael Spilotro.
She's among 146 "recommended" job candidates linked to DeLeo by Blagojevich's office, though it isn't clear for what job.
DeLeo (D-How You Doin?) sure seems to have a lot of "friends" with questionable backgrounds. Of course, that could be said about many politicians in Chicago. The mayor's sister-in-law for one. And his golfing buddies. And more than a few of his political contributors.

Heard a variation at the desk in 21this week- a Woman called claiming she was told Hispanic Gang memebers were being required to kill 144 ? African American women in order to prove thier worth?

My friend works at the City Health Clinic at 18th & Ashland. They found a piece of paper attached to their door today stating something to the effect that on Oct 21st, many women in and around Pilsen will die.
No numbers were mentioned to my knowledge. The police were notified. The women working there are scared!

Back almost 30 years I had to chase after him for almost 2 miles to get him pulled over and wrote him a few movers for all the red lights, lanes use and speeding he did. It was my first case that disappeared in court, never to be seen or heard. Knew back then the arrogant SOB must be connected, and he was nobody then.

Within the last 10 years I had a couple of incidents involving the children/grandchildren of some of the old 26th Street Crew members.

This is one of those internet rumors that's being modified and re-circulated like crazy to fit local needs. 022 is getting barraged with this message saying that 150 women will be killed at every school in the district, and 022 has more schools than any district in the city.
Remember the rumor about the gang bangers driving with no headlights at night a few years ago? The one where if you flicked your lights on and off to warn them, you would get shot by them? Same thing, it's all garbage. Rumors spreading out of control thanks to the internet.

Whatsamatteryou? Didnt you hear the man say on tv there is no more gambling problem in chicago? Eve must have been the one responsible for taking down the mafia. Shes the one who recommended the whole unit disband. Give her some credit guys. Shes brilliant.
The Chicago Outfit used to have a very heavy hand in the CPD. Not any more. Their men in City Hall and Headquarters have lef out. As far as Mr DeLeo, he is the real deal. A gentleman with a lot of friends in high places, Vegas, Hollywood, and what's left of the mob here. Last or the wheeler dealers from the city. Had Blago licking out of his hands. Blago was a DeLeo wanna be, and that goal was not attained, but is to result with Rob in an orange suit.
The canceled the vice and gambling cause they knew they could not trust the likes of Ernie taking care of something that was a money maker for years for the smart clouted. Key word here is smart. They closed the door and turned off the lights. Lots of guys made lots of $ from 1960 - 1990.

Last week I saw shortshanks on TV receiving an award from some bleeding heart liberal organziation for his support in giving convicted felons jobs on the city payroll.
He remarked that everyone deserves a second chance!
