Hawks on a Tear

Eight in a row?

Four-for-four on the circus road trip so far?

Three shorthanded goals against San Jose on the way to a 7-2 pasting?

Hossa gets two goals in his first game of the season following surgery?

Thank you Rocky Wirtz.

Been a Hawks fan through the good times and the bad. I remember buying SRO tickets and pounding on the wooden panels in the third balcony of the old stadium. You are correct SCC...thank you Rocky Wirtz!
You know what is priceless though? I still get goosebumps EVERY time I hear the National Anthem at the Stadium!

The only owner in this city who you would want to shake hands and say thank you!

Maybe he could run or mayor?

I'm not a big hockey fan, I don't understand the nuances of the game, but I am really getting into this.

Call me a traitor. I've had an epiphany. I am now a Columbus Blue Jackets fan.

ROSE BOWL: GO Bucks, blow out the Ducks!

the hawks are showing why they are the class of the western conference this year--- an excellent defense and too many weapons on offense make them a team nobody wants to play--- it would be a good move for coach to give the net to niemi again today against the ducks and try to keep the kid fresh while giving huet some more down time....

I wouldn't be shocked if CHELIOS is playing for the Wolves to stay close to the HAWKS in case needed (injury) to sign a Defenseman....

If Rocky signs him for the playoff run could be a smart move again...fan favorite and been there and done that with the Wings...

Bummer game today vs the Ducks...

Regroup for Kings tomorrow!

Having been a die-hard fan for over 35 years, it is great to see this young, exciting team! My Dad used to take me to the games to see Bobby and Dennis Hull, Stan Mikita, Tony Esposito, Cliff Korrol, Pit Martin, Lou Angotti, Jim Pappin, Chico Maki, etc.
This team is the breath of fresh air this sports town needs!!

I can't wait for Adam Burish #37 to come back from injury!

CHELOIS will not be playing for the Hawks (or any NHL team) ever again. He is playing for the Wolves because it's the only job he can get (playing in the "A"). Anyways we are deep enough on D even with an injury.

So wear your Red Wings sweater, curl up in a ball and lick yourself!!!

I can't believe the idiot sports journalists in this town . The Bears suck and lost again and they have 7 pages of coverage in the Trib. The Hawks and Wolves are both playing great and you don't see a half page combined . This is an outrage. Hockey is the greatest team sport ever!
