Imposter Arrested Again?

From the comments, a couple people are claiming the police impersonator has been locked up again. Can anyone verify and what the hell for this time?

And if true, someone get us the name of the Juvenile Court judge, because we are going to go to town.

at least you can give this kid credit he knows what he wants to be when he grows up. Most POs really have no idea what that want out of life and are just collecting a pay check and had no other job offers that pay with benfits.

In a brief hearing at Cook County Juvenile Court today, Judge Andrew Berman ruled that the 14-year-old accused of impersonating a Chicago police officer should be released this weekend.

Imposter? I thought you were talking about J-Fed! Meanwhile...why can't a real chief be recruited...

Crime in Milwaukee has decreased for an eighth consecutive quarter, , but Police Chief Edward A. Flynn cautioned that the downward trend could be slowed or reversed by the struggling economy and the early release of some prisoners.

Crime in the city decreased 7.2% in 2009 when compared with the previous year and 11.9% when compared with 2007, according to the department's statistics.

Violent crime - homicide, rape, robbery and aggravated assault - is down 12.8% when compared with 2008 and 20% when compared with 2007, the data shows.

"I'm very proud of the work of the Police Department over the last two years to increase the levels of safety in this community," Flynn said. Flynn, Mayor Tom Barrett and District Attorney John T. Chisholm all expressed concern about the effects that the early release of some prisoners could have on the city.

The state Department of Corrections granted early release to 21 prisoners this month.

"This is going to have an effect on us," Flynn said. "That's undeniable, particularly in light of the fact that we have insufficient probation and parole officers to monitor (offenders') behavior. If there's a point I want to make, a takeaway here as we confront 2010, it's that disinvestment in criminal justice is a false economy.

"We think we're saving money, but we're not really saving money because these costs are going to be reflected in what happens to crime victims and their property, medical treatment, insurance cases, and the reputation of neighborhoods as being safe for business. There is a cascading effect that can be very negative."

Flynn said Milwaukee police arrest about 4,800 people on probation or parole each year, and a department spokeswoman said between 350 and 400 people were on electronic monitoring when they were arrested in 2009.

Really? I think more coppers are fed up with the judges, politicians, prisons, lack of support from our mayor, supt. and the fact that we don't have a contract. In case you haven't realized it, the moral is at an all time low.

I see people working hard every day. Either you work at headquarters or you're a civilian

Sometimes I am hair gel sometimes I am not. I am in between. I like many of the hair gel police because I was there as a D/A guy back when it was cool . I was differnet than the non D/A guy. Hey the hair gel guys are going to have it tougher than the non because there is no one to back them up. They will be on their own when there are no more Vietnam Vets or those trained by the Vietnam Vets. Hopefully there will be some Iraq or Afganstan vets to show them the way! This department does not want Vets even though they give lip service to those who serve with honor. They want sheep to protect this city. I want the POLICE to protect this city!!!!

The truly interesting thing is that the kid now has his own pc# and was able to do his own automated arrest, and inventory, in clear. He said he'd be happy to fix AIRA for the department and has his eye on Lewin's spot. Oh, he also said he's through with Patrol and is moving on to the Bureau of Administrative Services. Look out Ted!

Swear him in and send him to 008.
They could put him with someone riding 99. He already knows how to write tickets, and a kid that age can run foot chases like nobodys business !
