What it makes it all the more amazing is the buck really does stop with ONE guy and that guy is Richard M. Daley.
No other mayor in the country hast the political power to do good or bad things then he does.
He, Madigan and his political party control the city and state. What they say goes as every other politico with any influence at all has there nose up guys ass of those two guys.
And yet, with all that power what do we get? We get Daley preaching to us to keep the city clean with wrought iron fencing. Although, as recently as this week, Daley has said if Chicagoians can do it with "plastic" fencing so be it as long as the city is clean.
We need a mayor that remembers the smoke and gritty streets of Chicago where the beat cop ruled and "Chicago was known for names like Brachs, International Harvester, Berlin Press, Western Electric.....
Somebody ought to tell that prima dona leprechan that you ain't shit unless you manufacture shit and manufacturing is a messy thing.

On March 10, 2010 at approximately 4:00 pm, an 8-year old boy was riding his bicycle in the 4900 block of North Nashville Ave, when an unknown male white, driving a vehicle, attempted to lure the boy into his vehicle by enticing him with candy. After the boy refused, the vehicle pulled away.

Male white, 25-35 years old
5'07 – 5'10 tall
Brown Hair/Unknown Eye Color

Dark Blue Sweatshirt with no design or writing

I flipped him my badge as he was writing me, but he shrugged his shoulders and told me he 'had a job to do.' As he rode off, he slipped on the ice, and I watched him and his bike take a header. I turned my back and went on with my business, warning the young man that he and his bike shouldn't be in the path of my tires as I repositioned my vehicle. Priceless!

Good post and a reminder, the shit heads this parking company is hiring are actually shit heads. I wouldn't be surprised if they had previous arrests by CPD police. To the police out there, be careful. I saw a guy issuing parking tickets with full gang gear on, all black clothing of course but with the hip hop look. I'm sure they love giving the police tickets so be vigilant.

Instead of flipping out the badge, flip out your cellphone, or better yet camera. Get a photo of him and your car in the same frame. The ask to see his identification, if he refuses demand it. If he objects continue shooting photos and tell him if he does not like it he can call the police, if you want you will call them and he can call his supervisor.
Photos of him taking the header I would love to see those posted.
Just remember, that if confronted with someone with a camera, if they have a right to stand where they are standing, they can photograph anything in public view.Stay safe.
