Shortshanks Lied Again
This ChicagoNewsCooperative is turning into quite a nice source for inside info regarding Chicago politics. They seem to be the only ones pointing out that Daley makes it a habit of lying through his teeth - and then backing it up:
- In news conferences over two days in October 2008, the mayor refused to comment on disclosures that Representative Luis V. Gutierrez, Democrat of Illinois, had met with the mayor to help advance Mr. Boender’s development plan. Jacquelyn Heard, the mayor’s press secretary, ultimately sent reporters an e-mail message saying that neither Mr. Daley nor his aides “can recall him meeting with the congressman on this project or anything else except for the city’s legislative agenda” in Washington.
Fast forward to the Boender trial. A former city planning commissioner testified that Mr. Daley met with Mr. Gutierrez and Mr. Boender about the developer’s project, prompting mayoral aides to acknowledge that evidence of the meeting also appeared on the mayor’s personal calendar. City officials confirmed last week that federal investigators had questioned Mr. Daley about the meeting in March 2008, months before he dodged reporters’ questions.
So not only did the actual meeting appear on Daley's personal calendar, but shortly afterward Daley met with the FBI at a downtown hotel about this very same incident. You'd think that being questioned by Federal authorities might stick in your mind and make the Gutierrez meeting a little more memorable.
But then again, we've heard of people meeting feebs before and they described the experience as bland, sort of like meeting a loaf of white bread. Maybe Shortshanks is telling the truth?

Meeting the FBI is just like using the toliet, an every day occurence. How many people move when his lowliness leave the building? Is he a liar or a snitch?
Daley is like sgt Schultz from hogan's hereos "I Remember nothing," daley is crooked but must be a snitch there is no other way he could continue his relentless crime spree!
All he does is lie. It's who he is. He does what all the other politicians do. They lie and say anything they want knowing no one will call them on it. Nothing unusual at all about daley lying.

The media thinks he got help from the President on immigration reform for his vote. They are not thinking like a Chicago Political animal. Protect your own. Take all you can.
He's like any other felon who lies to your face when ask them if they have ever been arrested. The truth comes out with prints and a name check. In Daley's case, he lies so much he can't keep track of them. I hope voters realize this guy is doing nothing for this city other than shoving it down a sewer. We can see that the feds won't touch him so the only way to put an end to this atrocity is at the polls. Wake up Chicago!

Speaking of lying, April 2nd is coming soon. That is the date that J-Fed said that if he was the reason for low morale that he would leave. One year later and he is still here.
How about a string of what he has done to further reduce morale in the past year.
Maybe the news media will pick up on it and finally shame him into keeping his word.

You can't go to prison for lying to the public or the media, but Shortshank knows he will do time for lying to the FEDS. He's no complete fool. He'll lie to the media and they will forget about. Lie to the public and get voted back into office.
Da Mayor stated that he was glad the Feds caught Ike dirty, because there is no place for corruption in Chicago. What a joke! He really hates competition.

I don't think any member of Chicago politics could tell the truth unless it was purely by accident.
I've never been called into a meeting with the FBI, but I've met a couple of agents.

Speaking of liars...Got a newsletter from SXU. Justice Burke is going to be speaking and her bio states that "she was the founder of the Special Olympics" 1960's.
Does this woman every give it up? Now that Eunice Shriver is dead, she is now the founder, not "co-founder."
What is really funny to me is how people like the Burke's and Daley's use other people all the time but when (and if) someone (Shriver) steals an idea from them they cry like little babies. Does anyone know what the real backstory is with this? And why the hell she cannot seem let go of this "founder, co-founder" thing. Seems to me that as a "private Catholic/public servant" she would have her ego more in check.

Daley has been snitching to the FBI for about 5 years.Daley isnt stressed out about the 'G' coming after him;he is stressed out because some 'people' are beginning to ask questions about Daley's unbelievable luck in avoiding being indicted by the Feds.
