Whoever that cake belongs to, God Bless you on your retirement and thank you for your service to the citizens of Chicago.

Sad that it has to feel like an emancipation rather than a celebration though.

Things just ain't the way they used to be.

And now state legislators are calling for the National Guard. Great endorsement of the leadership of daley and weis.

After two years of weis we need the National Guard because the police are shorthanded, don't care and are underpaid. Oh I forgot, daley told us to blame the union for our paltry salary increase. For that reason alone we should show solidarity with the union like never before.

Remember, divide and conquer is daley's theme song.

Just curious about the retirement process, especially in light of the number of retirees on the 15th. Was there an exempt there to shake anyone's hand and thank them for their years of service? Probably not.
Shouldn't there be an exempt from 35th st. assigned to Personnel aka Human Resources to personally thank every retiree. Isn't this the least that the retirees deserve?

Do you think that lazy ass Director of PERSONNEL, would take time to shake hands with the people she hates the most. Be lucky they had the set up they did, she would rather inconvience you than help. Especially if you are a M2. And her little midget Capt, who is in a Lt spot, is working on getting the 2nd floor full of her snitches and ass kissers--keep me on the streets
