Two in Custody

But why does News Affairs or someone keep giving away our best tool?
  • A man and a woman have been charged in a baseball-bat attack that put two women in the hospital last week, police sources said.

  • The baseball bat believed to have been used in the attack has been recovered. Police used records from the women’s stolen cell phones and credit cards to track down their attackers, sources said. The two suspects were taken into custody Monday night.
The cell phone thing keeps appearing in the media. It's a great tool, but it won't be for long. Shhhhh!

Since the news media does not cover the decline and death throws of the CPD because it does not want to offend Shorty fuck 'em.

So give them a lie like J-Fled does.

"one of the things stolen from the girls was a loaf of home made Irish soda bread and we followed the trail of crumbs."

Good work Detectives and all concerned.

Speedy recovery ladies, God Bless.

To your relatives back in Ireland, throw any pictures you have of Richard M. Daley in the shithole for what he has done to this city and the CPD. He ain't the man his father was I worked for both of them.

To the two assholes that were locked up for this, I presume that you are guilty, so rot in hell. To Shorty and J-Fled, you are part of the problem, however small, that led to this so rot with them.

God save the CPD.

Dont blame the media blame the idiots in the department who release that info.

Same thing hapened with Osama Bin Laden. They were tracking him by the use of his cell phone. Then when Clinton bombed the empty pharmacy and released the fact they traced him with the cell phone.

Bin Laden then stopped using a cell phone.

As usual most of the initial posts are far off the topic and resort to the regular low level invective. The question is how much information relative to the mechanics of the arrest should be publicized without damaging future investigations. Unfortunately, it has been demonstrated that exempt members and News Affairs cannot be trusted to make that decision.

nothing! His "kudos" comment is mere jibberish. In fact as you often correctly do, argue he hindered you. When I read that the offender had 30 prior arrests, I also want to thank the states attorney and maybe 30 judges for doing NOTHING to prevent this. This guy should be in Stateville, someones bitch. Hey Anita, do you think your office can get the job right this time? One last thought for Marcy. Say good-bye to your kids. They will have a better life somewhere else while you are in prison.

For once can't some goddamned I've-never-been-a-detective-but-now-I-tell-them-what-to-do-boss just say "we got them through good old fashioned police work" and leave it at that?

Jesus, why not give them the name of the person at the cell company who puts through the traces and his SS# and ATM PIN and where he lives and throw a picture in there too because there will never ever be another case like this one?

The column in the Trib said the info came off the arrest report. Well, whatever, sometimes you have to put that shit in there I guess ... I personally will try my best to keep it very vague next time ... not sure if the media has legitimate access to the arrest report or not at the bond hearing ... they may have gotten it sneaked to them by some copper ...that's fine ... but the closer is not in for awhile, and by that time the media has forgoten about the whole thing. Just put in the arrest some one-sentence bullshit, if the wathc cmdr buys it you are good to go. The arrest report can be retrieved by any swinging dick, so keep the details in the case. That's right.

Talk about a waste of time but they can now report what they see & learn from the scene but also give out more info then should be given to the media.

But what does J-Fed know...Nothing!! Be careful out there.

Patrick didn't do it, nobody saw it and you can't prove it! Why go after a man's family like that? it's silly, just silly, silly.

Unlike the time about 10 years ago when son Patrick ran off with a stanchion from that exclusive bar/nightclub in 018 (Limelight?) and was hauled in by 018th District Police.

It seems it was all a big mistake, the bar gave young Patrick the stanchion as a souvenir of his being refused entrance, again, to the bar. And as a token of the bar owners appreciation for not being put out of business immediately.
