And for the next Supt, please dont make the royal f**k**g of a decent hardworking Police Officer your first order of business.... It will be a long 3 years with alot of bad publicity for poor/non existent leadership, no backing and constant requests for your resignation.

I knew about the seven people to be shot the day before it happened. Brett Goldstein told me it was going to happen when I saw him on TUESDAY!

Interesting.

So now the shootings are being broken down and classified as "the shooting(s) that caused the most serious wounds"?

They must be taking a page out of JFled's innie/outie book of police homicide classifications.

Crime is down like the economy is real good in Illinois.

The first thing that has to be done is to get "leaders" to do the correct assessment on what is happening.

Crime is UP because the economy sucks. Get a clue politicians !!

Were told at roll call one day that a house mouse was conducting a study on get this...

Teenage drinking and its link to violence...

The DC was really inspired, he wanted all the teenagers we see drinking to be locked up and the beer destroyed(after inventorying required of course)

This is what it has come to

Reminds me when I worked gangs, our sgt always said..
"Quantity is its own form of quality"

Be safe, most of all be smart

Are gangstas literally just shooting people at random now, without even the sick excuse that they were aiming at a specific target but are poor shots?

How come the media never reports the hard news anymore? How come the media never reports what is really going on in this city? How come the media never reports all the crap that goes on downtown Chicago. The "wildings"? The crime that happens even in their own back yards? Why?! I believe that they have this string attached to their throats and it gets pulled when the bad news comes across and the media doesn't like being chocked by who else. I live on the far northwest side and I recommend to all my friends, not to go downtown unless they feel very secure about not getting mugged, robbed or have any harm come to them. I am not blaming the police, for they can only have so much presence. I blame the ones in charge for not providing all of us a safe city. Unfortunately, the shootings will continue, because that is what is bred there, however, in the mean time, the shortage of police officers need to be addressed. For this the reason this city is going towards the "Detroit Way".
