Violent 50 Hours
Three men and two teenage boys were killed -- and at least 26 other people suffered violent injuries -- during an especially bloody 48-hour period. Both boys were shot and killed while attending block parties.
Three of the murders, and many of the shootings, were on the West Side -- an area the Chicago Sun-Times reported top police officials are targeting gang members. Police confirmed Sunday that at least two of the West Side shootings were gang-related.
The Sun-Times reported Sunday Chicago Police Supt. Jody Weis and other top law enforcement officials met with reputed leaders of several West Side street gangs as part of the Chicago Gang Violence Reduction Initiative.
When one of those gangs is involved in a killing, sources said, authorities plan to make their leaders' lives miserable, doing everything from towing their cars for parking violations, to ramping up parole visits, to pulling them over repeatedly for traffic stops.

Chicago aldermen are accusing Police Superintendent Jody Weis of waving a white flag in a secret meeting with gang leaders.
Ald. Bob Fioretti (2nd) said he couldn't believe the department chief sat down with "urban terrorists who are killing our kids with guns and drugs," the Sun-Times reports.
Actually that wasn't a white flag it was J-Fled dropping his white undies for the bangers.
Bt. 1199 is reporting that a large group of people have gathered at the public aid office in the 011th District due to the possibility that FEMA will be making emergency funds available to public aid recipients whom may have been affected by the recent floods. Approximately 500 people are currently lined up and are impeding traffic as viewed on PODS from the CPIC.
CPIC will continue to monitor.
A Plan 1 was called for this. This is why society is so fucked. Public aid recipients look for more public aid because of a flood. Hey, if something is fucked up, you need to fix it yourself. That is what is supposed to happen. Take care of you own problems, not look for handouts. If hell were to break loose and a real tragedy, these people would have to loot because they wouldn't be able to do it on their own.

Maybe the victims and their family members should sue J-Fled for provoking/instigating the gang leaders into retaliation. An argument could be made that J-Fled was the proximate cause of death of the murder victims.
One of the shooting "victims" prob got shot by his own boy on a hit gone bad. Was caught running from the scene w/ 2 other armed dudes and charged.

My buddy is LAPD they even heard of the meeting with the gang bangers. He couldn't believe it he said that it just makes the department look weaker.

Yeah, Melrose Park PD had to break up the line at the public aid office out there -- pushing, shoving, fights, people fainting, heat exhaustion, ambulances...
GD's just ordered 10 Toyota pickups to be outfitted as "technicals", just like in Mogadishu.
What?? A bloody weekend after J-Fled told the gang leaders to stop or else?
He better hold another meeting and tell them that this time he REALLY means it!
