We definitely need to support him and his family but the medical bills and home renovations are all paid for by the city and the Police Memorial Fund helps out in these situations. There shouldn't be any medical bills, etc for them to pay!

To all my fellow citizen trollers-click on the web site link and send a check in his name to the bank down there. This is among the best kinds of charitable donations you can make. The donation goes to the recipient and not some bureauracracy. Lets hope this adjustment of his life as a quad will be temporary.

Northsiders, leave an e-mail message ASAP if you want to ride the bus from 016 for the benefit.
Parking at Bourbon St will be tight. Consider parking at Marist HS 4200 W 115th St (Karlov Ave) and taking the shuttle buses we have arranged. 2 CPD Care-O-Vans will be running non-stop back and forth, and Marist students will be helping to pack everyone in.

I just read Officer Cole's home page. I didn't know about the robbery.

Damn, but WDF is the matter with people who would rob an unconscious person after an accident and make his condition worse? I think a battery charge - or attempted murder - would be more appropriate than just robbery.

*************
The city fights for every penny, they don't always cover everything needed medically either. Also, he still has his mortgage and bills to pay, and he is making less money.. not to mention two kids.. the city doesn't take care of your family.

Medical benefits max out.
The city DOES NOT pay for home renovations.
The city Does Not pay for a handicapped accessible vehicle.
The Police Memorial Foundation HELPS out, it is NOT endless aid.

Call the Police Memorial Foundation and ask just how much the rest of his life is going to cost Densey Cole.

God forbid if you are ever in this situation.
EVERYONE NEEDS TO STEP UP AND HELP OUT.

Make the (2) jagoffs that lifted the gun and wallet get jobs and pay for some of the costs. This should be done by court order. As far as them getting away with anything, fuck that. The ASA and Judge should slam these guys real hard for this. If I had anything to say about it they would both go up the river. The disarming charge alone should be worth a good boat ride.
