Bad Timing Rahm

  • Rahm Emanuel's campaign moved quickly to correct an e-mail that went out to supporters lamenting today's Chicago firefighter tragedy while also asking for campaign donations.

"As we celebrate this holiday season, we must remember how fortunate we are that we have brave men and women working out there every day to protect our homes, our communities and our families," the e-mail from Emanuel read. "We are eternally grateful for their courageous work, and we will never forget them."

Included after those words was an electronic button marked "Donate."

Emanuel spokesman Ben LaBolt said the gaffe was inadvertent and the result of using the wrong template in sending out the e-mail.

It would also seem to be proof of the Rahm maxim, "Never let a crisis go to waste."

It's going to take a bit more than a canned apology on this one. Something like this needs to be double and triple checked before being sent out to e-mail lists, especially when you're so obviously attempting to capitalize on a tragedy.

Rahm has publicly said many times that he wants to cut the pensions of Police and Fire. That's all I need to hear from him. "ANYBODY BUT RAHM".

He showed up for the Flisk benefit at FOP. The question is would he of showed up if he wasn't running for office?? We all know the answer is NO!! So what does this make him? Just another power hunger self absorbed politician who will piss all over the graves of the fallen to get a vote. Fuck him. J.Byrne was the last and probably only mayor who gave a fuck about the police.

I received one of those e-mails, although I'm not a Rahm supporter. What that did for me was to immediately hit the 'unsubscribe' button below.
That should end the crass, blatantly pandering for $ in a crisis e-mails, I hope.

Rahm will have you wishing Shortshanks was back after he gets in. He's pure scum and cut of the same cloth as that thieving little prick.

Only in liberal Chicago could this guy ever stand a chance given his track record of un-American behavior. Tyranny is the hallmark of these scum leftists.

What's the deal with his serving in a foreign army during a time that America was at war? Divided loyalties? Even more frightening than the thought of how much he's going to steal when he gets in.

More proof that he has no soul.

The sad thing is the sheeple that voted barry into office will blindly vote for him and he will win.

Sickening.

Like i implied in my previous post under rahms decision today rahm is the worst choice for mayor. he is no better than obama or as he is better known odumbo! i think he would be even worse than daily if thats possible! of course the only reason he even claims to feel bad about yesterdays tragic events is so he can try to collect more money for his campaign, he doesnt care about the fire or police departments or the firemen and police officers.

In light of the personnel tragedy and loss felt by our brothers on the C.F.D. side, this highlights what an absolute immoral scumbag this guy is. His mantra is to never let a " Good Crisis Go to Waste". He is truly without a soul. Our thoughts and prayers go out to our friends, neighbors and brothers in this time of sadness.

Reminds me of when ML King was shot and certain individuals ran to his side to get into the picture to get his blood on their shirts.

CAUTION: The following message many be deemed too sensitive for the politically naive.
Rahm, will be the next mayor of the city of Chicago.
You had better resolve yourselves to that fact, and deal with it, as best you can.
"With All Our Rage, We Are Still Just Rats In A Cage"
PS: Have A Nice Day ????

OT - WTF? Will this IDIOT Quinn never learn?

Quinn Grants 34 Clemency Petitions, Denies 51

"...since taking office in January 2009, He's granted 371 clemencies, 362 pardons and has authorized eight people who had already received pardons to seek expungement of their convictions. He's granted one commutation."

Hhmm. Thats kind of like the excuse that EB used when he lied on his resume. In a week attempt to correct a blatant lie, EB said he had many copies of his resume and accidentally sent the wrong one to Arizona when applying for a chief of police position.

When it comes to forwarding documents of such importance with your name on it, PROFESSIONALS would review and edit, read again, have someone else review, and read again, before sending it.

That means Rahm and Ernie are either liars or unprofessional. Hhmm, actually both are both...
