Lost Star
Remember, if it was never put to paper, it didn't happen:
- While not officially documented because some of her minions located it within a few hours, can anyone in 011 confirm that Henny Penny "lost" her star in her unmarked when she took it to the carwash last week??
Seems a search of the carwash and it's employees, as well as a review of the surveillance tapes, proved fruitless. All looked bleak until an anonymous citizen found the tin in a nearby alley and called a number found with the "proceeds".
She won't wear a vest or star to an HBT incident, but will have it peeled when she leaves it in the car while it's getting washed.
Now all you Henny Penny supporters chime-in and say it never happened because there wasn't paper generated. Anyone in 011 want to give their 2 cents worth??
Amazing. Who knows what tomorrow's tale will be?

The Dept. doesn't count a lost gold star the same as a numeric badge of a patrolman, detective, sgt. Lt., or Capt. The gold stars don't say much on them except for the words 'cmdr', Deputy Chief, etc. No Chicago cop would even dare allow someone to flash a gold star on them here without a photo id. Before Weis arrived, many gold stars were even issued two of them.
As the ghetto hoodrats on Maury say regarding paternity tests..."I'm 1000% percent...".
THIS IS TRUE. I was confided in by one of the officers that were sent to shake up the carwash employees that s/he felt like s/he had no choice but to follow Henny Penny's request to start the hunt for her lost badge. S/he asked me not to mention it, but I say "fuck that"...the ignorance & incompetence of the "upper echelon" needs to be brought to the forefront. If that had been you or me putting the arm on citizens trying to locate our lost/stolen badge we'd be strung up and made examples of. Had I been asked to participate in the hunt, I wouldve politely declined and instead generated the report via AIRA to make sure there was electronic documentation of Pennys latest idiotic move. But again, no paper, so this technically never happened.
On everything holy, IT DID HAPPEN. Give it a week or so...Penny's gonna step on her dick AGAIN - she never disappoints in that department.
PS - Keep your ears open for some shit to hit the fan regarding Leamington Foods at Kedzie/Roosevelt. This latest scandal-in-the-making has the potential to expose some big people - lawyers - cmdrs - alderman maybe????

But she'll deny an officer the use of her old badge number (reissued because they can do that now with the serial numbers on the back) EVEN THOUGH MastersMastersMasters himself handed it back to the officer who lost it during a foot chase.

Shit happens, but with Penny its like a comic strip , just love to read these Penny stories everyday, she could be a ruler in the Middle East

Thats right someone did not drop off the envelope with cash to the "alderman or who ever else involved". Even though the store made all payments and the license was issued but is being held back from being sent out by city hall.The guy is forced to close and gets fined. I hope this guy has a good lawyer and exposes all theses dirty ass people.

My post was for saying "the 7th District Capt.". He has been gone for almost a year now. We have our own issues here in the Wood. My point was for the original poster to get his/her facts straight before making a post. This is why and how rumors and other crap spirals out of control. Nothing more, nothing less.

Typical response from a typical stroke who knows nothing about this ass but yet feels compelled to respond in his typical donkey fashion.
Why are y'all picking on Penelope. Just because she has clout and you don't. Hell I was there when she was MERITIOUSLY promoted to detective. She was Penny JONES back then and had just come off a tragic affair with the 015th District Commander. Broken hearted she deserved that MERITIOUS promotion. In A/5 she was a rising star under Sgt. Vernis JONES and worked with another rising star Maria Soto soon to be Maher. Penelope excelled as a Property Crime Investigator and rightfully was MERITIOUSLY promoted to sergeant. Following her brief assignment to patrol she returned to A/5 P/C where she awed her crew with her stellar supervision. As I recall when words didn't motivate one particular petite female detective she followed a her into the locker room and threw her against the lockers. Of course the beef was unfounded as there was no MERIT to the detective's complaint. Onward and upward Penelope (now Trahannas) is MERITIOUSLY promoted to lieutenant. Following a brief assignment in patrol ( sorry to be sounding redundant) Penelope is assigned to some departmental position with the Corporation Counsel apparently due to her vast knowledge of Chicago Tort law gleaned from her tenure as a bogus check investigator. "HINT" to aspiring detectives. A bogus check det. in P/C is the place to be. Penelope and Maria are shining examples. Next up is Penelope MERITING Commander status. Of course all those rumors about boyfriends, no weapon or vest at situations or losing her star are without MERIT. So give the lady a break she is an upstanding member of the church, encourages her subordanates to practice what she preaches and above all MERITS YOUR RESPECT. Amen!
