Another Parolee Charged

  • A 19-year-old Chicago man, on parole for robbery, has been charged with the fatal shooting of a taxi driver in Evanston on May 15.

Darien Lawrence Marquez Connerly, of 2005 W. Jarvis Ave., was charged with first-degree murder and attempted armed robbery for shooting driver Leodis Blackburn, Evanston Police Cmdr. Tom Guenther said at a press conference Monday.

On parole for Aggravated Robbery, a charge that usually means a sentence of how long? Yet, here he is, out with a stolen gun, committing murder. He "served" under two years. And you, fellow citizens, can't carry a gun to stop it.

A-fucking-mazing, isn't it?

The blame for problems like these rest squarely on the Cook County States Attorneys office. They are for the most part cowards who want to try cases in the areas and not the court rooms.

Another Parolee Charged

Hey Illinois? Fed up yet?
*****************************

Apparently you haven't seen the article at breakingwindchicago.com where some prison watchdog group is pushing for LIGHTER sentencing for druggies and retail thefts.

Interesting how at the same time Escumuel is trying to destroy his own police department, refuse to hire enough police, that Quinn will be considering letting even MORE criminals out of jail or refusing to try them and just let them go back to the streets.

Who exactly in the fuck do these political hack fucks think is going to protect the public from all the useless fucks the hacks intend to dump on the city?

Surely fucking our pensions up or reducing our pay or increasing OUR share of pension contributions to pay for what the fuckers in city hall STOLE from us AND dumping more work on us, these fucktards just can't be that stupid can they?

More criminals, more crime, less cops, less pay = politicians saying FUCK YOU to their own constituency.

We ain't about to start working more with less for free asshats, and we ain't about to do more work for less fucking money EITHER.

The CCSAO is as useless as teats on a bull. Alvarez sorely lacks any skills as a prosecutor and this trait has flowed down through her staff of gnomes .

We don't need any new laws, just need people who can prosecute those who break the laws already on the books.

Let's not forget the "Sanctuary City" status. This makes Chicago home to every illegal that gets chased out of every other city that begins to fight this issue.

He was only sentenced to 4 years for Agg. Robbery! Gets out in 20 months. His DOC report says he has no tats, but I see 3 tear drop tats under his left eye. I wonder what those represent?

Handguns? In EVANSTON? That's unpossible! I lived on Hinman over by the South Ave. Purple Line stop. We never had an armed robbery at the Walgreens or the Chase Bank branch over by my old apartment, there were never times I'd go over for some quick Chinese food and see Evanston PD cars surrounding the entrances to those two cornerstones of that shopping center. Totally, totally, completely unpossible!

But then, the handgun ban they had there at the time was one of many reasons why I left Evanston.

Hey wait a minute, the sentencing also rests with the Judges. Don't blame everything on the ASA. I have seen more than once, Judges give wayyyy lighter punishment than the ASA was looking for. Until a Judge can be held liable for poo-pooing a criminal sentence or eligibility for parole, not much here is going to change. Don't forget people, judges are politicians too, you voted for them.

He is a straight up P.O.S. He was only out on parole for 90 days when he killed this poor guy. Until the ASA starts charging people and the Judges and IDOC start actually locking people up and keeping them there, this will never stop. Approve concealed carry! In the first 6 months of concealed carry, the shit heads will be dropping like flies! After the first 6 months, the surviving shit heads will wise up and give every armed robbery and random shooting a long second thought...An armed society (law abiding citizens that is) is a polite society.
