Flisk Honored

  • Friends and family met today to honor the late Chicago Police Officer Michael Flisk at the motorcycle garage at the Central Police district.

A 20-year veteran and member of the CPD Solo Motorcycle Unit, as well as an evidence technician, Flisk was gunned down in November 2010 while investigating a break-in to a vehicle in a Southeast Side alley. The car's owner also was slain, and a teenage parolee has been charged in the slayings.
And speaking of motorcycles, someone told us the Ride to Remember is this Sunday starting at Area 4. We usually get a reminder out to people with the basic itinerary, so if anyone has the specifics, post them in the comments, especially last minute registration info.

I would like to send my sincere sympathy to the Flisk family. When you lose a member of your family or your friend, killed or severely injured on the job. A piece of your heart is forever gone. It is replaced, with the joy of knowing that officer. The family and friends, are left to keep the slain/severely injured police officer's memory, loves and dreams alive. Good work, Sgt. Glynn and to all that helped him, remember E.T. Michael Flisk and his family.

Could anyone hear what McStupe said? Couldn't hear him since he didn't hold the mic correctly.

Did he say something stupid or was he respectful and not acting like a media hound?

I thought I heard him going off on a tangent about something, but I could be wrong.

Saw him hug Mike's sister as the ceremony ended, and it seemed heartfelt, not for show.

Unit 477, E.T. South has a nice memorial dedicated to our co-work and Brother ET Mike Flisk. We made no stink about it, and wanted absolutely no media. The Commander came by along with the Chief of Det's and the FOP who donated and dedicated the plaque, that made our day. Mike's family received a duplicate plaque from FOP also. Stop by and see it some time........

The public has been reminded through this cities corrupt media and the inner city populous really don't give two shits about any of us. Why no effort to expose those responsible for paroling this piece of shit three times prior to the murders? Not one word. All more media does is upset a family that's already been through enough, or haven't you noticed. The more of our business we keep from the media the better off all of us will be.
"So easy there ET".........Go blow it out your azz!!!
