Valadez Trial

Word from Brenda that the trial has been assigned to Room 606. She is asking that attendees arrive prior to 1030 to ensure seating. Anyone with updates, e-mail as you can and we'll try to get the info up during our evening posting schedule.

I hope there is a better turnout than what we had for the guys in 189. We CANNOT let an injustice happen here - Cook County Jury or not!

Judge Alonso is using Judge Porter's room 606 for the rest of the trial. Court starts at 10:30 this morning and the trial may go a week or more. It will be crowded. Alex Valadez comes from a big police family and Anita Alvarez is handling this case personally.

The Valdez gun law is not being enforced in cook county.... get charges approved, but when it gets to court they down grade it to reg uuw and give probation.... in skokie, room 209, they down graded a uuw by gangmember on a SGD... the same gang that has had 2 shootings with police officers in the past 3 weeks and has that has been tagging "cop killer".

More PO s needed. Please try to come after one. Lot of officers in the morning but after one there were just as many dirtbags in the gallery.

In Court Room 606 there was standing room only. Great turn out with PO's in uniform. Anita Alvarez did an excellent job this morning. Please, if you have court at 26th California, please make it your business to stop by and show your support to the Valadez Family. And enter the courtroom with your uniform shirt uncovered. Let's continue to show up and stand togther. We will see you tomorrow and the days to follow. Be safe!

Nice to see the courtroom full of our brothers and sisters supporting Ofc Valdez and his family. May we continue to appear in large numbers to show everyone that he will never be forgotten. fyi: There was a court date last week(for status)for Ofc. Nate Taylor's killer. I will post any information regarding this fucken savages day in court as i receive it. God Bless all our Heroes that have been taken from us prematurely from a society that protects and defends the animal instead of supporting its police.

I doubt the defense counsel is prior CPD. He
Said we use 4 "10 codes" in CPD.
10-20 location ??? Really?
10-4
10-99 and obviously
10-1

I never asked someone their 10-20, have u?
The jury will probably get tired of his antics.
Let's pray for Justice.

just checked the offenders lawyers website and it says he charges 30000 for a murder case. Can someone explain how a gangbannger from englewood came up with 30 thousand dollars? I hope this ex cpd attorney is not doing this for free just to make a name for himself.

I don't know if defense atty is retired or left the job, but he is a former Chicago Police Officer and he has a son on the job too.
