Does This Sound Familiar?

  • Politicians hate yielding power. But in recession-hit Greece, more governing Socialists are choosing to do so rather than back Prime Minister George Papandreou's deeply hated austerity measures.

In growing numbers, Socialist lawmakers are calling for an end to their single-party government, unable to face their angry constituents after two years of punishing tax hikes and slashed pensions, jobs and salaries.

  • Greeks are heading into a fourth year of recession with 16.5 percent unemployment and a rapidly expanding class of poor. Now they face yet more emergency tax hikes, pension cuts, and steep levies on their homes.
The socialists here in town seem to be following the same playbook.

==================================

Corporate socialization!

You're referring to the socialization of losses and corporate welfare bailouts by the too big to fail banks and corporations right?

Socialize all their losses when they gamble and lose, preach to us how we are all in this together and need to share the pain and then privatize the profits when they gamble and win. Why they worked and earned it, that money doesn't belong to you. ha..

They're not done.

Nice system if you're running it and can keep it going.

Interesting clip from MSNBC's Dylan Ratigan Show after he (rightfully) loses it on air trying to make his point that Congress (BOTH parties and Houses) cannot fix our economy.

Some VERY valid observations!

Let's see, first we'll create a distraction, oh maybe name-calling, i.e. Nazi, Pinko, Lefty, Pro-Life/Choice etc. Then let the pickpockets work the crowd. It seems to be working, it always has.

Obama and the (D)'s won't loosen their grip on the private sector and businesses won't hire until they do. It's an endless cycle that's going to produce nothing but misery until they are tossed from office.

The dems are purposely destroying the country so they can enact sweeping reforms in order to "save" the nation.

"Save" the nation from the mess they created (with help from the GOP).

The Tea Party FTW!

If you take away a persons incentive to work.......they won't .
At some point the taxes take enough that it's not worth getting out of bed.
I too can sit on a porch with a 40 oz. at 11am.

The standard of living in this country will never go back to where it was. Owning a home, buying that nice new shiny car, sending your kids to college, taking a well deserved vacation. Those perks will be for people who have money. Not for the vast majority of us. Our kids will have a tough road to travel. We thought over the years that our hard labor would make it better for our kids. That dream has become a nightmare.

therefore we should definitely arrest more protesters who are pointing this out.

Financially and culturually, Chicago is the bullseye of the socialist nightmare > City debt 500 mil, Cook County Debt, 2 bil, State of ILL debt a cool 20 bil reported with up to 80 BILLION UNfunded liabilities for public sector pensions & state medicaid/medicare obligations.

Now go look up the property tax's of any commercial/ business property in Cook county > NIGHTMARE > simply take note of the dramatically increasing VACANT begging for lease or for sale commerical property.

The TAX BASE that supports the DEMOCRAT LEECH machine is collapsing.
You ALL will be shocked to see Chicago go the way of Detroit in your childrens lifetime.
