Bears Favored? Again?
This hasn't worked out lately. Vegas has them as 3.5 favorites, but the only thing even keeping them in the game lately is the defense and those guys have got to be getting tired. Three games left and the playoffs a quickly fading fantasy.

OT Did anyone see the newscast with a Sgt. grabbing an offender leaving a store from behind and crashing through doorway and onto ground outside??? Injuries and dope dealer arrest have doomed this team. Maybe next year. The season is over....

As if it really matters. The Bears are a slow motion train wreck. If this were a video game everyone would be reaching for the reset button!
The Bears defense, as good as it is known to be, made Tim Tebow a legend last week by disintegrated in the final minutes of the game. We, who enjoy watching ESPN and the NFL Network more than other crap, have been forced to endure replay after replay of this historical Bears embarrassment.
Now, after the whole Sam Hurd "I wanna be Tony Montana" sideshow, I think the humane thing to do is lose the final 3 games, let the Bears come to grips with their monumental collapse, and hope for a draft position a couple of slots higher than if they had won 1 or 2 of the last 3 games and missed the playoffs anyway.
Here's also hoping that Jerry Angelo has gotten tired of it all and calls it quits and George McCaskey does the smart thing and looks for a Theo Epstein-like GM to take this franchise into the future. Tim Ruskell IS NOT the answer the Bears are looking for.
I'm a broken fan these days. I think I'm going to watch the Packers and pretend they're wearing Bears jerseys.

The same defense that let up 13 points in under 5 minutes.....the bears suck! Even with Cutler they could only beat mediocre teams! I hope they lose so I can stop hearing about their playoff chances already. Do you really want to see this team against a really good team in the playoffs. They have not beaten a good team in the playoffs in at least two years (unless you want to count the game against the below 500 seahawks) do you really want to see the bears destroyed by Green Bay again with Cutler on the sidelines....again!?

That particular Sgt has been doing stupid shit his entire career to get noticed and be the glory hound.
He got dumped off the 025th tact teams, what does that say about him?
Looks great on paper but is a danger to himself and others. We have been cleaning up his messes for quite a while now.
Watching a Bears game is no different than watching a high school dismissal, except it only involves 22 idiots pounding each other. There is a I.R.T Deadlist Roads Marathon on History Channel thats looking real good today.

if cutler didn't get injured we would be a 10-3 team right now--- projected we would go 12-4 before playoffs started--- by then we would possibly had both cutler and forte back--- what could have been ????--- if they try to rush cutler back now they are idiots....
I'm taking Da Bears for a small bet.
Watching the N.F.L. or N.B.A. Is just rewarding bad behavior. To the untrained eye the hats or tattoos the players flaunt are innocent, but when you see the hat cocked or the R.I.P. Tats you realize the level of gang control over the MAJORITY of the players. Unfortunately the bulk of the players happen to be M/1's and it is just sad. The eventual trainwreck of D. Rose or Hester is inevitable. The typical response is that " I'm not in a gang, but all my friends are". I will be blasted, and lampooned as being ignorant or racist, but I am simply telling the truth from my over 20 yrs dealing with this insanity. Until a true leader of color speaks up, it will continue on this path of self-denial and tragedy. Is it just plain sickening.

Im in A-5 and the Sgt always was/is a worker..period. Does a lot for the guys on the watch and a lot of quiet stuff behind the scenes..i know because he fixed a few of my fuck ups. A bit moody but very competent. Back to the bears..omg they suck!

OT: For years the delivery of the FOP books took place in December, as regular as the rain.
Not this year. I am a unit rep, I only got three (3) FOP books at the FOP Christmas party, THREE!
And NO FOP Stickers. Some inquiry revealed lot's of people have yet to get their books and stickers. How hard can that be, it is a basic, FOP Books and stickers.
And now we have an FOP President with a hand picked secretary who doesn't understand why police officers even need FOP Books. She asked, in plain English, "Why do they need those books? Everything is on the Internet."
No joke, that is the secretary of our FOP president. Who I voted for. But won't again.
So to get FOP Books for my district I must now go down to the FOP Store and buy the damn books myself. How damn hard can it be to get books and stickers for the membership? And this is the regime that is negotiating our next contract with Rahm?
Rahm will tear this FOP President apart I am afraid.
So folks, if you want an FOP Book, get on the phone and complain or go down there and buy your own.
One more thing, be prepared for a dues increase, the Legal Defense fund is in trouble.

013th District Watch Commander see's stars in broad daylight!
I was there today. I was glad the Seahawks won, because sitting behind me were the biggest bunch of jerks I have encountered in 25 years of going to Bears games. Not just routinely stupid and loud and obscene: genuinely vile people. Despite the presence of many children in the vicinity, one or more of them shouted obscenities at the top of their lungs at pretty much every play. Every referee's call against the Bears was "FUCKING BULLSHIT," every call that might have been made for the Bears that wasn't was a war crime, every Bears player that did anything wrong was a "GODDAMN MOTHERFUCKER" who ought to be cleaning jockstraps.
They smoked.
They pissed in empty beer cups instead of going to the Men's room during halftime, and cackled about it.
And at least two of them were south suburban cops, as they made loudly clear early on, bragging of their DUI''s beaten by flashing the badge, so no one (including me) ratted them out to security.
I'm the son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend of cops. But these are the guys who make the rest of you all look bad.
So, when confronted with fans like these, I switch sides. I recognize that their potential suffering at the Bears' incompetence in all phases of the game far outweighed any joy I would have experienced had the Bears played well and won. Every interception-for-a-TD thrown by Hanie or McNown, every flag tossed against the Bears, every 3-and-out made these guys vastly unhappy, angry, miserable, sad. That made me and my buddy happy. If we had to listen to these mopes, and worry about whether they'd spill their cups full of urine downstream onto our feet (or worse), we wanted them to suffer. We were delighted when they finally left about five minutes into the fourth quarter, and a pall of assholery lifted off the rest of us. One of the two teenage boys sitting next to me, in front of two of these wastes of DNA, turned to me and said "They don't know anything about football. The refs are doing a good job today. We're just playing poorly." He renewed my faith in humanity.

Watching the N.F.L. or N.B.A. Is just rewarding bad behavior. To the untrained eye the hats or tattoos the players flaunt are innocent, but when you see the hat cocked or the R.I.P. Tats you realize the level of gang control over the MAJORITY of the players. Unfortunately the bulk of the players happen to be M/1's and it is just sad. The eventual trainwreck of D. Rose or Hester is inevitable. The typical response is that " I'm not in a gang, but all my friends are". I will be blasted, and lampooned as being ignorant or racist, but I am simply telling the truth from my over 20 yrs dealing with this insanity. Until a true leader of color speaks up, it will continue on this path of self-denial and tragedy. Is it just plain sickening.

yep it's true. Asshole Lt. instigated a verbal from a great Sgt. everyone loves and there was screaming. next thing you know... pow !!! took one in the face... FUCK YOU Lt. S.
it's about time , things been brewing in 13 with this Jag and now he got what he deserves. Poor Sgt., IAD stripped him and now because of this asshole, who knows what will happen to him. and just to mention, the Sgt is a veteran on the dept and was going to pull the plug on this dept in the next year or 2...... more details to follow i'm sure. everone that loves the Sgt which is EVERYONE, are the same on the flipside they /we all hate this jag of a Lt. someone please take him out of 13 because if this particular Sgt lost it on him then you know things are bad here. this Sgt is the most laid back coppers cop type of boss. the likes of which you dont see any more like in years past when there was the real police....

The hit was brutal and intentionally made, not during the course of just playing football, but to injure and take a guy out of the game. Why is nobody calling out Seattle defensive tackle Anthony Hargrove for a cheap shot taken during the scramble for the ball? Look at the replay. Hargrove used his helmet and momentum to spear Knox.
