Prayers Needed

Sergeant takes ill on duty:
  • SCC,

Please put up an informational post and ask for all of our Brother's in Blue to pray for Sgt. Jason Kaczynski from 006 who suffered a heart attack last night just as he and his team were about to execute a search warrant in 007. Jason is the hero that shot the piece of shit that killed Thor Soderberg two years ago. He is a highly respected Cop, trusted Sergeant and one of the most loyal friends anyone could have. He is currently at U of C in bad shape.

The Tribune had a mention of this, but we had no idea who or what had happened. Godspeed Sergeant.

Yes... Prayers that our brother pulls through. God grant him and his family strength.

Prayers for all the men and women who wear the Sillitoe Tartan.

The usual cabal of joyful haters are posting in the fibune online...

*nyuk-nyuk... he just wanted some time off*

The criminal-political class of Chicago with the able assistance of local media have mounted such a propaganda campaign that they've succeeded in turning the public against The Police...

"We the silent majority, support you guys" is ringing so hollow and 20 years too late right about now... The next few months will be revealing as Rahm ramps up his anti-Police war machine.

Classic propaganda... Stripping your target of any human qualities makes it easy to turn the people against them.

Heh... The people who give a good damn about the fate of their Police are surrounded and outnumbered just like The Police are.

Egad... Is there anyone who isn't a multi-millionaire from the North Shore/Gold Coast that stands a chance of being considered worthwhile and relevant in the mummified l'il half a Boris Karloff In A Tutu's eyes?

Wow, this is tragic news. I havent seen jason in years but what a great guy. Hes a very good man and police officer. I remember I saw him shortly after the soderberg shooting and he wasn't all about the "glory". He was humble and did what he had to do. If I heard correctly he is also in the blue knights motorcycle club which is a cpd motorcycle club and he was popular with them also. I hope that he pulls through ok. Jay, you and your family are in our prayers.

CFD would LOVE to be there to support us on any and all high risk activity. They are as understaffed as we are, especially on the EMS side. You can thank City Hall for the long response times.
God Bless the good Sergeant, his family, and co-workers. I pray for his speedy recovery.

Jason is warming up. His core temp was lowered in order to prevent any brain damage. His temp is now being raised very slowly. This coming morning is a big day. Big hurtles but J is strong and his doctors, who are top notch, are realisticly optimistic. Jason's family, including his Brothers, are thankful for all of the support. Please continue to send your prayers and feel free to stop by. No one will be turned away. I will continue to update as possible.

BTW...he wasn't the only one who performed CPR on J.
A tactical officer from 007 (M.S.)took turns with him until the ambulance FINALLY arrived.

dont disrespet the man by saying he is in the blue knights. He is not a blue knight. He is an american lawman through and through. The blue knights are a scab crew who we would never associate with. Jason is our president and we despise the blue knights. get well jay, we are all pulling for you and prayin for ya brother. A.L MC member.

Update: Jason has opened his eyes on his own and is responding to commands. His Dr came in and got him to open his eyes several times and.blink.This is HUGE. Doctors say this is all very positive. Also a blood clot may not have caused the heart attack as initially thought. It could have come from a dump of adrenaline and endorphins brought on from the rush of anticipating the execution of the search warrant. The family wishes to express their thanks for the outpouring of prayers and visitors. I will continue to update news as it occurred.
