"Suspicious Packages"

The Department shut down river traffic after finding "unattended luggage."

Word has reached us about other "luggage" being located near so-called "critical infrastructure." So far it just seems like empty boxes, but we're tracking half-a dozen reports. Anyone have any info?

And remember, let the Bomb guys tell you it's safe before you go near it. Those guys are going to be busy as hell this weekend.

See a suspicious package or a suspected improvised explosive device (IED)?

As a former commander of Explosives Ordnance Disposal (EOD), U.S. Army, take my advice regarding possible bombs: Click HERE.

The "luggage" was under the Michigan Avenue bridge and the Coast Guard was on scene.

This was coupled with a complaint of Arab men taking pictures of bridges from underneath on a commercial boat.

Bomb and Arson checked it out and gave the all clear. Given all of the circumstances it wasn't overkill at all.

There could very well be an IED placed and detonated this weekend. Be cautious when responding to a detonation. It is quite common for there to be secondary devices at the location to target first responders. Stay safe.

That is why we have K-(, if they are not available to sniff the package STAY AWAY, you never know what may be inside! 1 would think the empty luggage in different areas that has been found are only "test" cases to see how we will respond! Don't be a blue canary!!

The demented low life "protestors" have had months to plan their attack on Chicago. Don't be surprised by anything they do. If these bastards toss a Molitv Cocktail at me then they will get some lead. Fuck them. At least I will be alive to tell my story.

The department has barely a third of the budgeted bomb dogs. Not only shorthanded but short pawed too.

This idiot Rahm is totally ruining the police department. Just wait until he starts in on the fire department.

3.5 months and adios my friends.
