Priceless

Here's why McNumber's crime stats don't mean a thing:

Would anybody believe me if we had 300% more homicides on June 17 this year compared to June 17 last year?

    Well, we did.

You can't buy humor like that folks - it has to be created.

Here’s the deal, Gary DIDN’T LIE. He pulled the “double speak” Politician move. Because that’s what he is: A Politician. Not a cop, a politician.

He asked “would anyone believe me if I said we had 50 less homicides” (or something to that effect).
He DIDN’T LIE. He also didn’t make a statement, he asked a question.

If I asked you on this blog “Would anyone believe me if I said I was a Sgt at 35th St” Your answer could be YES. Why? Because it’s feasible, I might be a Sgt in HQ. When in actuality, I’m not. I’m a blue shirt, pushing a beat car. But I didn’t LIE, I just asked a question that sounds possible.

the reality is that for the most part anyone over the rank of sgt becomes less and less cop and more and more politician. and that is not just in chicago.

it has to be that way.

In Rahm World, it doesn't matter how many are shot/killed, as long as the overall crime numbers are going down.

Well we're down nearly fifty percent in shootings from last week to this week.

In fact, there have been NO SHOOTINGS in the past ten minutes. This just proves that our strategies are working.

The only 'perception problem' is that the law abiding taxpaying citizens of Chicago perceive that anything McDrunk & Rahmballerina say are lies and double-speak. More people killed in Chicago then US troops killed in Afghanistan and a murder 4 times higher then New York City? NYC has an population of 11-12 million.

Brian Williams (NBC News Editor-in-Chief): "It was sad news this weekend when we learned of the death of...Rodney King", but he didn't say WHY it was sad... NBC wouldn't say how King died, only that he was unable to "escape the demons that haunted him". His fiancée, Cynthia Kelley, says she and King, were drinking and smoking weed before he allegedly fell into their pool and drowned.

Williams is the same POS liberal in charge at NBC as they altered photos, 911 tapes and the whole Trayvon Martin story for which a couple of lowly NBC producers were supposedly fired. He was also an intern in the Clinton White House.

Watch Fox if you're looking for non-liberal slanted news.

He said somewhere, maybe it was in his St. Sabina rant,

"What am I, STUPID!?!?"

Does he really want an answer to that from a group of Chicago Cops?

Or does he think we are stupid?

He must think the Chicago public is stupid, but there he may be right. After all mostly they voted for Rahm, Daley, Quin and BHO.

they didnt give a description of the male that raped the girl in the englewood. im sure if the citizens had a description he would be pointed out. but in that neck of the woods, snitches are bitches. im sure if fr mike asked they would tell him, after all he likes to pretend hes the saviour of the neighor hood. the truth is its easier to blame anyone other then the residents of this hood. one day it will dawn on them, there all cowards!

the three most important things in the next contract are, health care and more pos, pension funding. a raise would be great, but it would be so small taxes would consume it. keep the cost for health care low is money in the pocket. more pos means time off when its wanted and needed. more pos help to put money in the fund so it stays solvent.

While your point is well taken, do your homework when you start throwing population numbers around.

According to the 2010 U.S. Census, New York City has a total population of 8,175,133, just over three times more than Chicago's population of 2,695,598 which is slightly larger than the Borough of Brooklyn.
