Nine Shot, Two Dead

  • Two people were killed and seven others were wounded in shootings across the city Friday night and Saturday morning, police said.

Of course, we're also averaging 6 shot a day during the week, working out to around 60 people appearing at hospitals with extra holes in their bodies each week.

Halfway through July - who has the numbers so far and compared to last year?

Yep.

We cut medicaid and medicare from all the retirees who played by the rules and done things right way and from the needy to pay for the 60+ gun shot victims per week.

Not to mention that health care cost are rising at a clip of about 9% per year for everyone else -- well above any cost of living increase over the last ten years.

We're really saving now huh mayor? Governor? $1.6 bil in medicare cuts and we turn around and blow more than that in the ER's for these clowns.

Bottom line: Don't be surprised when your health care plan doesn't do **** for you.

You're Welcome.

That's not enough! It always brings a smile to my face when I wake up to see headlines like "12 shot, 4 killed overnight" and "35 shot, 8 killed over weekend". This "9 and 2" business leaves me feeling a little disappointed. But at least it's a decrease in the increase! If only they would CEASE their FIRE!!!!

Oh, oh. Looks like Mope-Rah is gonna have to bring her pals at Cease Fire to her town.

Maybe Rahm's plan to have Cease Fire counsel the little tykes into moving to the suburbs is working.

Gmac and rahm are actually getting lucky. Last weekend we had no homicides and this weekend we had only two or three. If you look back to last year last weekend in 2011 went wild. There were 11 dead and about 50 shot. This weekend in 2011 saw 9 dead and 44 shot. So I think its safe to say that the city is going to close the gap a little bit with homicides because of these two weekends and McFootInMouth will tout how his plans are working so well. annoying.

This really isn't the proper place to post this as it has nothing to do with the article. I had to call 911 last night because I was terrified that somebody was breaking into my building (turned out to be a domestic dispute within my building). I hate calling the police for something like that when I know there are other, more serious crimes happening. But the officers who arrived were great. The response time was fantastic. They were super nice and understanding and didn't treat me like I was a dumb woman for calling 911. Just wanted you ladies and gentlemen to know that the citizens appreciate your hard work! Thank you for keeping me, my dog and my neighbors safe.

P.S. The dispatchers were awesome too.

I know the money is good. But we are just messing ourselves up in the future. City Hall will say that this NEW strategy is working and therefore we don't need to hire more police. The City can keep their 30 pieces of silver!

Thank God Rahm gave those gang bangers from Sleazefire a million dollars of our money. It's great that they are rewarded for a life of crime with a $45,000 a year salary when so many decent people are out of work.

Keep voting for that Democratic Machine, folks.

So that means nine medical bills to the tax payers and two funerals to the tax payers.

Keep voting for the Democrats. They're doing a great job here.

And the Walking Reverend wants to build a community center for the children...and Rahm & Quinn will help, too. And Walgreen's just gave up $25,000.00 for the Reverend building. The ultra fabulous Salvation Army Ray Kroc Community Center was just built at 119th & Racine. How many centers must be built to stop the killings?

Vote Democrat.
