notre dame just named #1 by all three polls--- if the bears lose they will be tied for first with stinky bay--- campbell is going to have to earn some of that 3 million he is making this year if the bears are going to get by one of the best defenses in the nfl....

Cutler out, but Alex Smith out as well. Battle of the back-up QBs.

Can you say Defensive battle?

Hope the Bears "D" stays tough and Special Teams goes on a tear.

A Bears loss puts the Packers in 1st place.

I predicted 28 Defensive points combined for this game and no offensive TD only field goals. Bears Lose.

OT

County system proven broken to be a "joke" again.

The man charged with stabbing an Oak Brook doctor dining with his family on the Mag Mile had been out of prison just a week for slashing a grocery store security guard, prosecutors said.

Jimmy Harris, 56, was denied bail after Assistant State's Attorney Lorraine Scaduto told the judge that Harris "is clearly a danger to the community."

Harris has used a long list of aliases and has at least 60 arrests and nine felony convictions dating back to the late 1970s, according to Chicago police, state and court records.

I hope the Bears do win. Not much else to cheer about in Chicago.

I won't be going to the Westin to celebrate that's for sure.

Where are all the self-important North Michigan Avenue executives and their plan to protect tourists and shoppers?

I will be staying out of Chicago for the Holidays.

Crime is down in Chicago? Santa's elves must be working overtime to get it back up.

Only 2nd quarter with 49ers by 20 to zip. Fenwick or Mt. Carmel would have a better chance. It doesn't take a psychic to realize this is going to be a blowout. It's boys vs. men.

That was ugly. The Bears are not contenders at all. Last week Houston, this week SF, two against the Vikings and the Packers one more time. They'll be lucky if they make a wildcard spot and then they'll be a first round exit.

Bears offensive line is shameful. Even when Cutler comes back, he will get knocked out again.

But SF's O line was great.

Gabe Carimi got dominated. Shameful.
DeMarcus Webb=Shameful

The Big 10 Conference (actually 12 universities) now welcomes the Terrapins of MARYLAND (suburb of D.C.) and the Scarlet Knights of RUTGERS (New Jersey suburb of New York City).

This was obviously done for NCAA football TV revenue from the NYC and DC metropolitan areas.

Who is responsible for drafting the Bear's linemen?

3 weeks ago I told an appalled bunch at the desk "The Bears are nowhere as good as their record". That their O-Line is the worst in the league.

Webb absolutely sucks and Carimi aint much better. Nor are the rest of them. Special teams are middling except for a place kicker.

They are likely to miss the play offs entirely. Even if they make them they will lose. They went 7-1 against nobodies, and even then should have lost 2 or 3 of them.
