Unknown Hero

  • An off-duty Chicago police officer was credited with busting two teens and a 12-year-old who robbed a woman on Thanksgiving, police said.

The cop, who police did not name, darted out of a holiday gathering after the panicked robbery victim sought refuge, then tracked the trio down and held them until other cops arrived.

The incident unfolded about 9:15 p.m. when the alleged thieves — two 15-year-olds and a 12-year-old — approached the 20-year-old woman from behind as she walked in the 3000 block of South Princeton Avenue.
No info if this is part of a pattern that had been developing in the Bridgeport area, but all three were captured and charged.

Word is that they were just about to turn their lives around, being 15, 15 and 12.

They all lived over east and had stolen CTA fare cards on them too. They illegally rode the CTA over west to go "shopping".... for victims!

Too bad the offenders didn't resist arrest or even point a gun at a police officer. We now have to deal with these pieces of shit until they're dead.

FACT!! The viaducts in the area are like the Bermuda triangle. The sooner they find some offenders in a ditch, the sooner the word will get out and that crap will stop PRONTISSIMO!!

This is not your Father's Bridgeport. Once bustling with streetcars, and German, Irish, and Italian immigrants; it has now become Chinatown south and Dearborn-Ickes west. That is all.

SCC, the Asshole Hat is obviously too tight. People can type, but they can't read properly. Must be one of CPS's finest.

Unlike some areas of this doomed city, the majority of residents in Bridgeport fully support and care about our police. Thank you officers in 009!

You're so right, this is NOT your grandfather's Bridgeport. I was born in Bridgeport 70 years ago..wonderful years, terrific neighbors, Lithuanians, Irish, Polish, Italians, Slovak, Croatians...hard-working and proud of their neighborhood and their Church.

Today, many of the old buildings have been converted to "art galleries."...translation anarchists, socialists, marxists, revolutionries, COMMUNISTS. There is a Communist Party USA meeting hall on 32/33rd Halsted called "the Unity Center", catering to illegals, and lefties who want to meet and greet. This joint is allowed to flourish in a neighborhood that once was home to a Prava newspaper agency, called Vilnius, where Lithuanians would buy a newspaper to learn what was happening to their relatives in communist-run Lithuania around the turn of the 20th century to about the 1950s. Use to have pictures of Marx and Engels on the wall...we kids use to sneak a peak through the small chicken-wire covered window on the door...we knew these people were enemies of freedom loving people...and the neighbors eventurlly got rid of this joint.

And today the Churches apparently do nothing about getting rid of the leftist influence in Bridgeport. Bridgeport is GONE, the only original trace of this neighborhood I once knew is the name. Perhaps one day the leftist scum will be banished from the White House, City Hall and the neighborhood..

Amish kids in straw hats who came to the city to rob from their farm home. No one to rob but some cows back home.

Yup, and it won't be next summer either. McLush wants it like NYPD, no test, all appointment by supervisory edict. You know, Merit.
